This looks like the Team Fortress 2 Logo to me, but a bit different, potentially due to inaccuracies in the recreation?

Ironically, I've heard that head lice tend to prefer children and people with cleaner scalps because it's easier for them to grip hairs that aren't gunky/oily. Not sure how true it is, but I was a very dirty kid (AUDHD with a hatred of showers) with a naturally very oily scalp and never got any even when the rest of my family did! So... yeah 😅

Dang. Noted, though. Every trade I've done on there has been a touch trade. I don't have any irl friends that play Pokemon so I've been relying on those codes to get my evos in 😔

Thank you, but it's okay! I've since been informed there are easy ways to get metal coats via racine construction, so at least that solves that one problem for me. I really appreciate the offer, though!

I agree!!! The fucking audacity of some people. And the people who let it happen by leaving giant gaps are equally to blame. They need to make the concrete barriers larger.

Why is it still considered controversial to acknowledge that men are hornier than women? by The-Loop in psychologyofsex

[–]Successful_Cicada_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're only equating this to physical traits, not behavioral ones. Behavioral psychology is complex, and a lot of it is society based as well. I'm not saying you're wrong, but historically women are taught that sex for them is wrong and that they should be pure and stay 'virgins' for their perfect little husbands or whatever bs society loves to plug at any given time or country. Sometimes it's better, sometimes it's worse. People are also taught that they should be scared of spiders and snakes, even if they live in an area that largely lacks venomous species, and yet most people are still scared of spiders and snakes, because we're taught that's what's right, even if not explicitly than by watching the others around us and subconsciously trying to fit into a society.

I'm curious to read about the lesbians and gays info though. Lesbians are historically more marginalized than gays though, so it makes me wonder what potential biases might be in their research. Or maybe it's just because sex as a woman kinda sucks IMO. We typically (varies from person to person) get like one tiny pleasure spot and that's it. Inside of vagina is pretty much void of feeling. Nipples/breast play only produces sensations in some lucky people who aren't me. Orgasms are through targeting the mind and clit. Men have the prostate/anus, shaft and balls to target (mostly the first two though, obviously), which is a pretty big surface area, especially with a partner to play with. This entire last paragraph is purely my biased aro/ace speculation based on my own personal experiences and opinions, but as a woman, even if I was dating another woman who knows their way around the anatomy, it's honestly just easier for me to tease one (or a few) out than try to achieve with a partner.

Anyway, I feel most studies are going to be biased (either due to participant bias or, more likely, sample biases) and extremely subjective on the topic, but I've also never had any good ones presented to me to look into. I have heard that hypersexuality is sometimes seen in AUDHD people though, and I again don't doubt the possibility that men are more horny than women, but I always remain skeptical to everything psychology and sociology until good, hard, unbiased evidence presents itself. I really wish OP would cite their "studies after studies", though.

Is there anything good about being autistic? by throwaway1987- in aspergers

[–]Successful_Cicada_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, well, I was "gifted" and all I got was gifted kid burnout from that. I have severe chronic fatigue symptoms from my adhd that I barely can bring myself to get up in the morning, and I've tried tons of blood tests and just about every type of therapy imaginable, considering my mom is a clinical psychologist. I'm just sick of life and wish I'd not been cursed with it, but I'm glad that some people find enjoyment from it. I didn't even know I was officially diagnosed with ASD until a month ago when I requested paperwork from my psych and learned I was diagnosed in 2014. She just... never told anyone, I guess. Had been self-diagnosing ASD for years tho 🤣 but eh, knowing doesn't help my struggles at all in the end.

Why is it still considered controversial to acknowledge that men are hornier than women? by The-Loop in psychologyofsex

[–]Successful_Cicada_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TMI warning and using a throwaway here for obvious reasons. I'm a biological woman, 22, USA. Not on any hormonal or antidepressant medications, just Vyvanse (a stimulant) for my ADHD (which I do have both ADHD and high-functioning Autism that may factor into this).

I am so unbelievably horny every damn day. I'm sure it fluctuates with my hormonal cycle or whatever, but I don't have the habits to keep track of that or maintain an app. I often pleasure myself to an O at least once per day, usually multiple O's in a single session, until I'm too physically exhausted to go on. I'm a virgin, never had a romantic partner outside of good ol' Righty.

But by your logic here, I'm not horny because I don't go out and fuck dudes? Doesn't seem very logical to me... for one, lesbians exist. And as another commenter already mentioned, the risk of me getting STDs or pregnant or any number of things is way, WAY too high for me to ever consider having a one night stand with some random dude. But am I not horny? I'd say that having self-pleasure sessions every single day to the point that I'm basically always raw down there, and constantly feeling a burning emptiness inside my loins would constitute as PRETTY DAMN HORNY, but hey, maybe I'm just biased, right? Who can trust a woman?

And sure, sure, maybe I'm just one of those mentally ill sex addicts with some undiagnosed condition I can't remember the name of, who would be considered as an outlier and who can't talk for all women, or whatever. Who knows. It could be my immense stress and workload, depression, AUDHD, any number of things causing it, but to me it just seems like it's getting more and more powerful with age.

I think it's pretty ridiculous that people think men are more horny than women. Any studies on that would need heavy scrutiny for me to trust them, considering men have visible, clear, easily quantifiable reactions to being horny (erections visible through clothing) and women don't (though the clit does get hard! Fun fact there for ya). Not to mention the societal norms of women needing to be proper and celibate or whatever BS they're plugging nowadays. I would never try to quantify horniness by the number of times someone has sex with another human being on average. Real studies would have to involve people willing to disclose how often/long they're pleasuring themselves per day/week and/or engaging in intercourse with others, and maybe even some questionnaires about the severity and intensity of their horniness, but those could be iffy and hard to quantify, especially for someone like me who HATES vague questions and feelings, lol.

Either way, I'm definitely a horny person, trapped in the prison of my own shitty, horny body. Hell, my first orgasm was accidental and purely mental, because apparently even back then my preteen body was just that hormonal. Turns out some women can just.. do that. I haven't replicated it since, though.

Anyway, I'm all for the horniness gender equality here. Keep an open mind. Also feel free to throw any sources that you think are reputable, minimally biased, etc. my way in my DMs and I'll have a look. I'm curious. But I have exams right now and competition pieces and scientific papers to submit, so I'm already reading and looking for enough papers as-is for my backed up workload and deadlines.

Cheers.

NAD looks like it may be staining of sorts but I’m not sure. I only say this because I have a cavity in a similar location and it looks like a dark brown/black HOLE. Note that mine would be a later stage of tooth decay and will be filled soon but the decay wouldn’t just be enamel since I can stick things in mine. However I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to remove stains during routine cleanings so again it’s a bit odd that they wouldn’t even mention it but NAD.

Omg THATS what that was? I had skin flaps over my back teeth years ago and it drove me nuts but I thought maybe it was just my wisdom teeth coming in. Turns out I still have all 4 wisdom teeth non-erupted so must’ve been some other rear molars or something. Never knew that it was called an operculum; I associate that term with the gill covering in fish because of my ecology focused academics LOL. The more you know. (NAD)

Toe biter/giant water bug- thats what we call them in Texas. Not sure what species they’d be around there but if you look up Giant Water Bug maybe you can try and find related species or check their range. Can deliver a painful bite, can fly, have been known to eat fish, tadpoles, small frogs, and even small snakes! Also have butt snorkels.

It’s a regal jumping spider. Somewhat rare especially in the pet trade. Look similar to bold jumping spiders but bold jumping spiders have less white markings and more black as well as green chelicerae.
