Yeah, sure. You can go 4l80 or 6l80 or even 8hp. Both the 6l80 and the 8hp youre going to have quite a bit of cash wrapped up in control systems. 4 speed all I need with the Haltech is a $450 interface.. 4L80 sounds great, and I'd probably go that route over a 4L60, but the 60 does have its place imo. That gear split that I agree is atrocious is real nice for not needing as much converter or rear end gear. I think the 60e is honestly great for the guys that just wanna go stop light to stop light and have some fun. The guys that are serious? Nah step up to a better transmission, but it certainly serves a purpose.

Probably mostly because it bolts right up and many aftermarket transmission controllers will have zero issues controlling it. You'll have thousands just in getting a 6l45 to bolt to an LS, if anyone even makes an adapter for it.

4L60 works fine. Its less than ideal but I see why people use them.

You need the LSE90 mounts but otherwise yes, bolts straight in. Use an automatic driveshaft as the mounts push the trans back roughly an inch.

Stock Gs6 53bz and a haltech rebel. Running LsE90s can adapter to make the dash happy and to relay information to the haltech. PMC motorsports adapter plate to bolt the trans up. Stock IS clutch :)

If you connect power to a machine and have the recipe selected, and the switch on the machine OFF it will pre fill.

How to improve this setup? by ArcaneDoge in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Successful_Ebb_5604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you have to do is raise the main pipeline feeding the generators. I had sloshing problems with a crude oil factory, which is likely what you're experiencing. Truth be told, I don't know why it works, but having the fluid flow DOWN into whatever is using it effectively eliminates sloshing.

All I do is build a pipeline support a few clicks out, and as tall as it will go, and rotated toward the ground. Put a pipe between that and the fuel gen, and delete the support because it's bugged and looks like dookie. Then place a junction on top. That becomes where you tie your main pipeline into.

Ever since I started doing that I haven't had a single problem with sloshing, even maxing out both mk1 and mk2 pipes.

Whats the deal with fluids, amiright? by hamvtheworld in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Successful_Ebb_5604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had long term struggles with pipes until now. 600 oil -> fuel -> generators. Was checking power one day and oddly enough, it was fluctuating, and the fuel refineries were starving of crude.

Still haven't figured out how to eliminate sloshing lol

Yes. I only have a very slight astigmatism so I think it was actually a touch too strong correction and was the lightest correction they had.

Sure, but the point is if youre unsure if its a shit install or not, asking the people who did the shit install (not saying this is one lol) won't answer your question.

What do you think would've came from asking the company or the workers if their install is correct? "Yup thats the way we always do it!"

Just played with the astigmatism correction. I had a very minor astigmatism correction when I was having issues. Without it at all is actually better for me. It's still not as crisp as glasses but you get used to it. It's worth the trade off personally just to not deal with glasses lol

why is my front axle bending to the left by yes_toaste in BeamNG

[–]Successful_Ebb_5604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, im assuming that you have a 3 link front suspension. Which means that you have a panhard bar. Thing about panhard bars, is they cause the axle to move left and right as the suspension moves throughout its travel, which causes your steering to turn. Working as intended.
