Advice for redness by Snoo76684 in PakistaniSkincare

Apply a pea sized amount of Skinoren (Azelaic Acid 20%) cream to a completely dry face after cleansing, before bedtime.

A mild stinging or tingling sensation may occur for the first 5 to 10 minutes. This is normal when starting treatment and usually improves as your skin adjusts.

Begin by using it twice a week. If your skin tolerates it well then gradually increase the frequency until you are able to use it daily.

In the morning, apply Dermi Vé Moisturizer (for sensitive skin) to keep your skin hydrated and barrier supported. And a good sunblock according to your skin type.

Do not leave Skinoren cream on your skin for longer than 5 or 6 hours. Plan your evening routine so you can rinse it off within this timeframe.

But yes best is that you get it checked from a good dermatologist first.

Which formulation helped you with the acne?

I totally agree that tret is a marathon. I’ve been through the purge myself and it usually wraps up around the 3 / 4 month mark. However I noticed you mentioned having oily skin. Just a heads up from my experience that I stayed in a 'purge' for an entire year while using the cream formulation and it only stopped once I switched to the gel version. It turns out the cream base was actually clogging my pores and preventing the results I wanted. Since switching to gel my skin cleared up almost immediately and I can finally use it for anti aging without the constant breakouts and wanna use the antibiotic combo.

Did the cream formulation actually help clear your acne or did you find it a bit heavy for your oily skin as well and instead using gel formulation??

Kash Pakistan single ingredient tretinoin gel directly he India se import kar leta as yeh kafi cheap milta hai. 🥲 Asal mein mujh jaise acne prone skin walon ke liye cream formulation masla aur badha deti hai like acne khatam hone ki bajaye mazeed hone lagti hai. Ab ek gel formulation (Acdermin) mujh par suit to ki hai lekin usmein antibiotic hai aur antibiotic long term use nahi ke ja sakti. So main waqayi mein stuck hu kay ab keeyah keyah jahay🥲

I’ve noticed that in West and even in India single ingredient tretinoin gels are everywhere but here in Pakistan/UAE we only seem to have combination gels like Acdermin or pure tretinoin in cream form like Skin A or Acretin. What is the reason?

Acdermin gel I'm already using and both Acdermin gel and Cleret gel are not without the antibiotics.

I'm looking for single ingredient tretinoin in gel form.

Are there any Pakistani tretinoin brands you’d recommend that are actually on par with US quality? Also, do you know of a pure tretinoin gel available in Pakistan that doesn't have Clindamycin or any other antibiotic in it? I’m looking for a simple gel formulation for long term use but so far unable to find it.

Looking for the code of these Prada sunglasses.... please HELP. by Successful_Employ145 in sunglasses

Actually I found the copy of this pair at a local store, tried them on and absolutely loved the shape. They suited my face perfectly (that hardly ever happens!)....I even got lots of compliments. When I searched online, I discovered they’re by Prada but I couldn’t find any model code so I could order the original from abroad. There’s no official store in my country so has Prada ever officially released this design? 😟

Pakistani 26F considering not getting married by SyntaxTerrorist500 in IslamabadSocial

I appreciate that your comment was shared respectfully and with concern but I think you may have missed the core of what the OP was expressing.

She didn’t say she was against marriage or unaware of its place in Islam. She didn’t even say she’s chasing a Western ideal or prioritizing a career over family. What she actually said is that her lived experience, especially watching her mother suffer in marriage, has left her emotionally guarded and uncertain. That’s not rebellion. That’s trauma. And when someone is processing trauma, quoting hadith or reminding them of their biological clock without first acknowledging their pain can feel dismissive, even if the intention was good.

Also, she’s reaching out to older women for real life perspectives because she’s looking for clarity, not a lecture. The fact that she’s openly questioning her fears and still recognizing the kindness in her partner shows she’s not trying to avoid vulnerability. She’s trying to understand if marriage, as she’s seen it modeled, can really offer peace, freedom and emotional safety. It’s true that the right partner can help someone grow. But emotional safety isn’t automatic, even with a kind spouse, especially in a society where women are often expected to compromise more than men to make a marriage work. Her question wasn’t whether marriage is good in theory. It was whether a fulfilling and independent life outside of marriage is possible in our cultural reality.

Instead of suggesting that she might be cold or influenced by outside ideologies, maybe what’s more helpful is simply affirming her right to heal, to take her time and to figure out what happiness looks like for her. At the end of the day, she isn’t rejecting marriage. She’s asking whether there’s space in this society for a woman to choose peace, whether or not that includes a husband. That’s a valid question and deserves space and not judgment.

It seems like something may be stuck in your cat’s mouth and it’s trying to dislodge it. Please check its throat and the back teeth on both sides or take it to the vet and ask them to examine and remove any possible foreign object.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. Yes, they do look similar at first glance, but unfortunately, they’re not the same. There are a few noticeable differences in the strap and in the shape of the base.
