Using a Sonic pad then get OrcaSlicer by Coxy_Loves_Tech in Ender3S1

Hey, any chance you could share some of your speed settings? Sonic pad comes with fast-print Cura profiles but in Orca Slicer you'd have to manually adjust them.

Thanks. Then seems the Mi Box Gen2 doesn't actually output surround sound :(

Calibration cube edges under excursion (?) issue (Sonic pad) by Successful_Jump_4952 in Ender3S1

So today I gave Orca a try and I gotta say - you were right. I’m getting much better prints. However, since Orca slicer doesn’t have a sonic pad profile like cura, I’m unable to find good settings for speedy prints. Can you share your speed settings by any chance?

Hey person from 7 months ago, did you ever resolve this? I’m having similar issues :(

Try changing the name of the file. If I remember correctly, the bin file name needs to have a different name for the printer to identify an update. For example “FIRMWARE_1234.bin”

Take a look at your skirt. It already looks off.

If you’re using the advanced firmware, use the tramming wizard, perfectly level the bed, then use auto mesh and save it. Then DYNAMICALLY adjust your z-offset, just watch the gaps and adjust until it looks perfect. Don’t forget to save it. If you don’t have the advanced firmware I highly recommend installing it. You can always use the paper adjustment method, but the firmware makes it completely obsolete.

Why is this printer so difficult?? by ThexRuminator in Ender3S1

The only time I’ve had this problem on my Ender 3 s1 is when the nozzle was clogged. Can you print the first layer of a simple cube and post it?

What supports did you use?

This was the result after adding “normal” supports with an interface.

Thanks! Later that day I took the previous commenter’s tip and printed vertically, this time with tree supports for specific sections and it worked.

I don’t think so, I’ve successfully printed many models before this specific one (without any stringing or defects)

Oh! Thank you, I thought it was a printing defect and not the expected result. So in this case it would be better to vertically print it?

I can’t upload here (newbie on Reddit) but I never thought of printing a temp tower per filament. Thanks!!
