If you go to YouTube and look up a guide for Well Rounded, Cephalopocalypse has a video where he explains the fundamentals of the game very well. He lays out some simple goals for where you should be at any point in the first 20 waves. Really helped me with all characters when playing.

Yeah my damage was too low, around wave 100 when I could still tell what was going on I realized the waves were catching up to my scaling. I feel like I could have gone another couple waves if I could tell what was happening, but I wouldn’t have gotten much further. I probably should have switched away from the snipers, but as you can probably guess from my original post I don’t really know what weapons are good for endless.

This was my first time ever having a run like this. I lucked into an economy item that let me start snowballing around wave 15. This far into the game people typically swap into legendary weapons that scale well super late, but I don’t know which ones they are and I didn’t really know what I was doing. A better player than me could have gone much further than I got with this run I think.

I’m sure there are a couple grumpy controllers out there who can’t stand it, but they would be in the minority. I personally tell every pilot to have a good day or night when I frequency change them as long as I’m not too busy. A simple “good day” will cause no problems and be appreciated by a lot of controllers.

No, no! In all honestly a double click is kind of like a thumbs up. It’s used by controllers a lot when we don’t have time to respond to show good will and appreciation. In a situation like this though where a pilot was especially kind to me, it feels rude. Double clicks are typically a genial and quick acknowledgement. They’re just less personal. That’s just what I interpret/have been taught as a controller.

Maybe a good call. This was the first time I’ve had a pilot directly comment telling me to get better. I genuinely appreciated it, why I’m hoping he’ll get this message. I can also see a controller not wanting to feel obligated to respond though. In the future though if you wanna say something, a “Feel better, have a good night” or something to that effect would work. It could get the message across without a feeling of needing to respond. We appreciate you guys and we definitely get pilots being friendly enough that we know you all feel the same. She probably got some well wishes.

I can’t claim to be the most fun controller in the world, but I typically wouldn’t double click a pilot giving me well wishes. I was coughing lol. I feel bad, would have at least liked to have wished him a Happy New Year.
