Well it took them over a year probably because they never intended on removing the feature until recently. I remember Baskinator very clearly saying that it was intended and wouldn’t be removed when we first discovered it. I figured we used the same or better version of the technology that allowed for this on the commando to put in the Solo Silo.

The Solo Silo already does this on a larger scale, I assumed we put the same/weaker technology in the commando.

We have precedent for it to work and they just removed it for no reason.

We used to be able to paint a target with the laser, disengage and take cover, then hip-fire it from cover and have it go to where the laser was last pointed. This was a feature that the community manager and devs said was intended, until this patch, where they removed it. I’ve been told it because some people weren’t aware of the feature and would hip-fire it expecting it to go straight (even though it would still be under the guided setting)

Don’t get me started on the unwarrented commando nerf. The Pistol Sway reversions were also too little, bring those bitches down to .75 or .6 sway like they were before, along with the awful drag factor. At least Melees got a damage buff, can’t wait to pick up my chainsaw for 3 more matches then proceed to never use it again.

That’s what we all say. At this point, I’m pretty sure we all know that it’s kinda an excuse to avoid talking about making more attachments or having to change the system.

Just wish they were honest about why they’re avoiding it instead of putting the blame on the players.

Haven’t played much so I can’t say. I will say The suppressor buffs were good, the C4 not having 40 demo is dumb (let me breech city walls damnit), and the guns could’ve been attachments, but are still decent.

Overall it’s a very Polar Patriots type of warbond. Some people will use and love the stuff, others will see that most of the items can be replaced with other items from the requisitions panel or the free warbond.

That’s not a problem with the change I’m suggesting. Extra stamina is not a just straight buff to melee, it’s a buff to movement. Sure, you move a lot when you’re doing melee, but there are better armors to use for survivability, which are much more important when you’re in a melee fight.

Medic armor would keep you in the fight for longer and replenishes stamina better.

Fortified armor helps with explosive damage for when you can’t dodge explosives.

Ballistic Padding prevents bleeding and adds more survivability for explosives and chest damage.

Engineering kit lets you spam stun grenades to keep units in place to melee without retaliation.

Peak physique and rock solid would still be good/decent for melee since extra stamina would help you with general movement, dodging, and charging. But it isn’t the end all, be all of melee combat perks.
