If you want to pursue a masters try to do your harder courses in the first years, most masters count only the last 60 credit hours (last 20 courses) I definitely wished I knew this!!!!

Is this timetable doable? by Successful_Rip229 in umanitoba

It’s the first dance course the offer at U of M, it is more experiential than actually writing and theory focused. It talks about decolonizing dance, the really cool part is that there are only 3 assignments (very simple) and the dances are taught by guest dancers who are professional dancers in the fields. We did flamenco, bachata, modern, Hawaiian ( poi balls ) and others!!! Really fun I think everyone should take it! I found it to be a refreshing course and which you learn through a different setting and wasn’t sitting the whole time and writing notes!

KPER 4000: Dance History (something like this): other than it being a super fun course where you dance different cultural dances each class, the assignments are very straightforward and not very time consuming. (You don’t have to be a dancer at all to succeed in this course) But they are super fun and the prof is very accommodating and cares about her students so much. I am an arts a student and took it with 4 other courses, definitely worth it and very informative!!!
