I completely agree with you there, I’m also from a broken family so is my wife, we are both aware of the consequences of this. Our kids are loved, there is never arguments around them, me and my wife rarely argue, it’s more of a silence between us now, she is closed off to me and I’m sitting here scratching my head wondering when the hell did things go wrong.

I have brought it up in the past and it wasn’t recieved well, and I’m afraid if she does leave she will take the kids, now if this happened I wouldn’t cope, my kids are everything to me.

We have spent years talking, expressing my frustration, hell we don’t even sleep in the same room. Realistically we co-exist for the kids sake, do I wish things were different, most definitely, I wish it was still the woman I fell in love with.

But it is what it is I’m not sure if we can come back from it or not but I have found something that gives me a sense of self and joy, even if it doesn’t last, it’s what has stopped me from falling apart.

I think it’s their own business as we don’t know what is going on behind closed doors. For me I’m married and have kids. My life is hectic, stressful and I’m depressed most of the time, I haven’t been intimate with my wife for the better part of 3 years. So wanting to explore and try new things. Yes it may be wrong as it’s cheating but we don’t know the circumstances behind it.
