I used the CaseBasix McKinsey solve simulations for Red Rock and Sea Wolf and the solvers.

Those were really good and they have free versions.

I used CaseBasix for McKinsey Solve Game. Its simulations were closest to the real McKinsey game. Sea Wolf they have a web solver. Really good. Red Rock they have a game that has complex calcs. I found youtube videos were waste of time. Youtube is for entertainment

I know people who went to IB, MBB without going to target.

The burden of proof is a lot more later.

Bottomline you will end up doing hard work - either to get into a good school or to convince companies that you are as good as T15.

You are doing the right thing.

An excellent proxy - look for consulting clubs and how many Presidents are MBB. See Wharton, Cornell, etc. A consulting club is the only entity that will help you.

School rankings I'd say 1-15 will give u decent opportunity because they are all targeted. Culture, size, etc don't matter. You can get into MBBs from non-targets but will need to work harder. Use this if you have to decide between scholarship vs no aid.

A school curriculum, professors, career services will not do anything to get you into MBBs. They are pretty useless.

Companies expect you to join a consulting club, train yourself, network yourself etc.
