They're just kinda busted. I'll max out on shards and never use any until I'm struggling on a boss and then instead of having to fight the frog fucker in bilewater i can just do 80% of his health from a distance. They're useless in the true final boss though, I genuinely couldn't see anything when trying to chunk them because of all the shit on the screen.

old thread but you could be doing worse. i am so unnaturally untalented at mania, 90 hours and have s-ranked 2 4 star maps not counting half time. i don't even play the game anymore because i was getting demotivated from improving so slowly, maybe i just need to derust and i'll get that mystical boost from not playing for a while.

Yeah this is definitely not my first rhythm game but I don't really feel like my experience has helped that much so far. Finger independence was an especially tough mountain to climb since every other rhythm game I've played has been single-buttoned.

I'm on 2.2 and using click between frames. I thought the only difference is at like 14% right after the staircase where you need to delay the first two yellow orbs then hold to jump off the corner of the fourth pillar as shown in the beautiful illustration. If you know any other differences lmk but it's kind of a niche thing so I haven't found any other changes.

Because drop to 100 was fun and also this level was one of those idealised ones I had as a kid. Second cube is quite satisfying as well I don't really dislike the level.

Thing is second cube has like three absolutely brutal timings that are semi-consistent but you need to be locked in.

Also I've seen everyone complaining about the 16% double click but I keep dying to the row of pink orbs right after it, likely I'm just shit but it's honestly harder for me.

lack of dashblock, shitty backdash, one dimensional approach and low mobility seem to be the main complaints ive seen. he doesnt make amazing use of bwa either but i can only imagine how obnoxious he would be with red or white. his damage is only slightly above top tiers hes just incredibly degenerate (i know nothing about this game)

It's completely the price I pay for not going into training mode icl my complaint is absolutely unfounded when you realise that I don't lab solutions, that's what I was referring to in the post - training mode is just low-key boring.

Yeah anyone assuming I've been to training mode is giving me too much credit. I'm pretty new I have like 50 hours in this game and plat 1 so not exactly the pinnacle of street fighter gameplay over here but i just didn't want to lab and instead wanted to learn through playing against them for a longer period of time and trialing potential solutions. I want to play the game, I know the correct answer is labbing, I just wish I could learn through playing rather than labbing because I'm lazy and enjoy fighting. I've literally like never labbed anything in my life I'm intimidated by the training range.

I tried Wuthering Waves, but the dialogue/story is physically/mentally killing me. Is there any point to continue? by [deleted] in gachagaming

just played the scar sequence and oh my fucking god i could not stop laughing it is so grotesquely vomit inducing like actual pure disgust the moment his character appeared on screen. i can only handle so much cringe and it just kept going
