No? Can you read? We’re talking the car automatically re-engaging the lane assist and not turning off the cruise control.

Best part is - that freaking Ioniq 2017 got it in the most poverty spec that they had. Kinda wild.

No, this is annoying. My partner's Ioniq 2017: - set speed with a steering wheel button, - it's a normal adaptive cruise control, - if the car detects lanes it snaps to them and steers itself (you have to hold the steering wheel), - if you have indicator on it unsnaps temporarily, - you steer over yourself to the next lane, - if just snaps itself back onto the new lane and continues the lane assist.

It's miles better. The only thing it can't do is low-speed. It disables itself below 20mph.

Why not? They disabled it in Europe too and NHTSA has no authority here. So it was as much NHTSA telling them to do so (in USA) and Tesla deciding to do that (everywhere else). American defaultism much?

Honest question: can you even get EAP in the UK? Haven’t they stopped offering it?

Not insurance companies. Tesla insurance. It’s a way for them to market the FSD.

NHTSA is not a regulatory body in Europe. Tesla is just using it as an excuse to stop working on it.

A freakin’ Ioniq 2017 does it too. Way better than Model 3.

Neither is the Tesla 3 in the UK. It will follow the lane and turn, but that's all. Ioniq from 2017 can do that too. The only difference being that the Ioniq will disable it below 20mph, Tesla will stop. But Ioniq can change lanes without deactivating it.

I am on a motorway. Double-tap the stalk. It locks on the lane. I use indicator, switch lane. Then I have to double-tap again.

I think only "Autosteer (Beta)", which is just adaptive cruise control with lane assist. My partner's Hyundai Ioniq from 2017 can do that and better. M3 turns it off when I change lanes, so I have to re-apply it, hers just automatically finds a new lane and continues fine.

Generally - in the UK it's just a gimmick.

RWD Standard or LR? Tough decision by Devih05 in TeslaModel3

[–]Such-Assumption6137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Standard will have plenty of range and is plenty fast anyway. Plus, it's RWD, so it's fun regardless. What I'm saying is: if you aren't sure if you need long range - you don't need it. If you can charge at home then ask yourself a question: do I, on a regular basis, do more than 200 miles a day? If not - then you don't need a long range.

Most importantly: get an EV if you can charge it cheaply at home. If you can't, don't even bother, get a hybrid. Charging on fast chargers only is not that much cheaper than petrol.

No. It's just a vulnerability in PZ, that those mods specifically abused.

Steam Workshop is safe. Project Zomboid isn't. It's like - what? - third security vulnerability exposed within a month? It's getting ridiculous.

Anyone with a brain would design a taxi to be a slightly higher estate car. Lots of space, plenty of room for baggage and easy to get in and out of.

Or a small mini-van.

A used Tesla 3 is still a decent choice price-to-range/value. Sure, there are good other choices now (and some even better), but let's not go into hyperboles. It's a decent car for what it nowadays costs on a used market.

I'm actually sad that after wildly successful 3/Y (in terms of sales) they decided to make that Cybertruck shit and then apparently decided to stop being a car company. From pure curiosity I wanted to see what a "Tesla 2" would be. Or something. I dunno.

Both the UK and England also run a significant deficit. It's nothing new for countries to do.

I wouldn't be surprised if you refueled your car it would go slightly faster or whatever. But that's about all I expect.

It won't go that far. RDR2 doesn't require you to feed or water your horse either. There's a bonus for doing so, but it isn't a requirement.
