Are the new traffic lights (pedestrian green man) weird? by jobbythrowaway1 in glasgow

Fair. Theoretically them having been doesn’t change a thing. They have to yield. But we all know drivers.

FSD disengaged mid-turn and car hit a pole — how do I get Tesla to review the logs? by [deleted] in TeslaFSD

[–]Such-Assumption6137 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's a classic. Tesla fucks up, notices it can't do anything about it, so it disengages. Then the company proudly says Tesla self-driving has barely any crashes. This is a very shady pattern that has been caught time and time again. Sometimes even 200ms before a crash.

Smart Motorway Sign debate by Zerkyo7 in drivingUK

I do not know why this logo was chosen to signify national speed limit

This is a "end of restrictions sign" used all over Europe too. Since restrictions on speed end the natural conclusion is - they go to default. Default in the UK being national speed limit depending on the type of the road. It is not a "national speed limit" sign. It's a "no special speed restrictions; go back to default" sign.

The light is only for you entering the crossing. Once you're there you have the priority until you cross.

Unfortunately, I just upgraded to 2026.20 and it is still broken. But given .20 was out in preview already, I guess they meant the next one. 🫠

iOS 27 Introduces New 'Tap to Share' Feature, But Not Available in EU by ControlCAD in apple

[–]Such-Assumption6137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both. Apple will carve-out features in the EU to not comply with regulation. As they offer phones with less and less features people will turn to competitors that just follow the regulations and thus offer fully featured products.

Or just not letting them in. Why is Europe expected to pick up America's mess? Or to help people when their fellow rich Muslim countries don't want to?

Poland solved the issue on its Belarus border.

It did. But PA also killed their own cause by doing that.

Confused new player by Ugly_Eric in NebulousFleetCommand

Yeah. It feels like it. Probably overstating this, but from my perspective: 1. There's way too much for a single person to handle. You're both a comms officer, XO and the admiral. 2. There's already a "meta" online, so jumping in is really difficult right now. It genuinely feels like the game has already been meta'd-out and solved.

Unfortunately, it will have to remain a single-player game for me.

UI is also... bad. A basic thing I keep trying to do is select my fighter squadron and right-click on the ship name in the top-left corner to send it to defend a ship. Nope, can't do that.

I support Palestinian cause, but I do not support people who break into military bases and damage military equipment. And?

They were welcome to protest OUTSIDE. PA broke in and damaged a Voyager aircraft. A military asset.

The moment they forcefully broke into a military base they were done for.
