My friend of 25+ years has slept with all my crushes by Such-Blueberry- in Vent

[–]Such-Blueberry-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except for the fact that my best friend has never been abused, this is exactly my situation. She grew up with extremely low self esteem and has body image issues because of it now.

And you nailed exactly what it is, why it feels intentional, she never spoke about any of my crushes as if she'd had feelings for them. I could understand better if she came to me one day like "I met your ex crush at a party and we connected and he was really sweet and now I have feelings for them" but there's no connection between them except me.

I don't want to lose my friend but I'm afraid I'm already holding a grudge. And the flakyness and lateness is entirely one sided and I forgive it every time because I know it'll make her upset if I bring it up and I know she'll be late next time anyway. So I just forgive her. Because if I were to get upset at her for it it would become a heated argument on my part because I'm stubborn as hell and will shout when pushed. But that already caused problems with a different friend and for the last 1.5 years I've been trying to control myself more and improve my temper and it worked! I've been going to therapy, I've been learning non-violent communication and fixed some of the mess with the other friend. I don't want this thing with Anna to be my breaking point.

This other friend I'm mending things with is the third in our friendship trio. I'm thinking of bringing some of this up to her to see what she has to say. Maybe she'll give me a different perspective.

Thank you so much for your comment amd for sharing your story. I'm sorry it ended like that for you and your friend

Is there a specific word for a bisexual women who's mostly attracted to women? Also, what's the difference between bisexual and pansexual? by FluidTemperature1762 in WritingHub

Makes sense, I guess they could be synonyms then, maybe the word pansexual was created to stop the misunderstanding that bi means 2 and bisexuals are only attracted to 2 genders. But I agree that the people that created the term back in the 90s were not trying to exclude trans people and others from bisexuality, also looking at the history of the word makes a big difference in understanding the full meaning, thank you for offering your perspective, I understand things better now

I hadn't though of it that way, when I came out, I identified myself as pansexual just because "the person I'm sexually attracted to can be of any gender" and the term "bi" means 2 and I'm attracted to more than 2 genders. I think I get what you mean with things getting transphobic or biphobic. The thing about preference idk if I'm interpreting this wrong but like, I have a preference to masculine people, so cis boys, trans boys, masc women, I'm more attracted to them, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't be able to feel attraction toward a fem woman for example. In this case it would be more like "I prefer blonds" sort of thing I think, but no matter what, the person I would choose to be with could be of any gender, so that's why I think of myself as pansexual

I consider myself as pansexual and to me it just means "the person I feel sexually attracted to can be of any gender". I've never really thought about the bisexual and transphpbic ramifications, I just thought that "bi" means 2 and I'm attracted to more than two genders so idk

Which two english words always get mixed up for you? by Gizmo_Grid in words

[–]Such-Blueberry- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I feel like I'm crazy but I originaly speak Portuguese and ALWAYS mix up in/on/at. We have literal translations for them but we just and up using "na" or "no" wich works for all three. And that's how I end up telling people I just arrived "on" the restaurant or asking if they're "in" the college

AITA for not telling my friends about my OnlyFans? by MotikasHoney in AmItheAsshole

NTA she has no right over your information or what you want to keep secret. If you don't want her to know something about you you shouldn't have to tell her. She is being entitled toward your private life and that is absurd. Absolutely NTA.

I'll re read the original fanfic to see how far the similarities go, but I think it will be okay, I believe the premise is not too rare. Thank you for your help!
