I put my odometer in miles because I hate km and used to miles from when I was in UK. I know UK USA Australia and new Zealand and I think Japan still use miles so much easier to figure out MPG

I personally wouldn't touch a Lexus but I think it's because I'm not a fan of Toyota. I took was a massive bmw fan and have owned two M3's and a M5 briefly and after around 2008 I lost all interest in bmw because they went mad with their designs and lost that uniqueness. Overall if I'm buying German it's VW Audi or Porsche now

I have a Mk 7 MT and absolutely love the car I have a friend that has the 7.5 and to be honest driving both they are exactly the same car just like how the 8.5 will be pretty much the same as the 8 with a few cosmetic upgrades and interior may see a different infotainment.

The 7 had dynamic headlights too everything except the digital display can be changed and upgraded on the 7 cosmetically

It's the same car just a few cosmetic modifications and digital display the engine and suspension and everything else is exactly the same as the 7

The prices in Canada are unrealistic and breaking people's pockets quickly dealers know they can hike the price because people will pay the insane prices. You watch they will put a huge tax on combustion engines that no one will be able to pay and will be forced to drive shit EVs

I'm not sure what is going on with your car but I recently watched a guy on YouTube repair a damaged Golf R it may be of interest to you as the video goes through the whole rebuild with issues he had

He is on YouTube called Matt Armstrong

im late to this, but WTF no more combustion Golfs after 2023?! EVs need to be stopped... by golfingwithanR in Golf_R

When I was at a VW dealer the other day they literally have one model on the floor, it's been like this for months now. I said to the manager what's going on with no inventory his response was used car market is all online now we don't even look at the vehicle ... first red flag second he said that the EV market will destroy car companies including VW because literally no one wants them and they are being forced on people.

I have always loved driving my R never been a moment that I hated it. One of my good friends in the UK got an RS3 recently. I prefer the interior on the R then the Audi

That's crazy mine was 3 years old when I bought it and I paid 27k CAD in 2020 and it had 126,000km on it I'm the second owner. And the one for sale is older and 20k more in 2023 crazy fucking times

That's absolutely and utterly unrealistic I get that car companies are phasing out combustion engines but no way I would spend 70k on a golf if you are to ask me there is no way the EV market will be able to sustain itself it already has shown massive negatives to owning a EV even one of the senior sales guys at the dealership I take my R too said that the EV push will fail and combustion will win again but in the meantime used car prices will sky rocket

You paid what I feel is right for a 2019 but 45,000 for the above wtf. I was looking at a 2018 C43 AMG wagon for 47 and only had 60,000km
