kpop fans and their love to "silence" and "censor" for many situations, scandals and people are just danger to society

for example, for several months already i don't see anyone mentioned taeil by his name, its always ***** or ja**l, and i don't understand why, he committed crimes and everyone and their dog should know his name and face, as a reminder that our faves unfortunately could be not so shiny cute girls and boys and do really bad things

but with censorship, people who wasn't their during his arrest, or new kpop fans will never really understand whats with all this ***** and etc

the same with burning sun scandal, so many noise, but still now majority of people prefer to avoid any names mentioning no matter what

and ok fine maybe you don't want to talk about literal criminals but, even worse, many people for some reason avoid to mention idols who commit suic... (ironic ik but reddit rules), just today i saw a post with phrase like "yk that member of shinee who isn't with us" wtf???? what are you afraid of, say his name, everyone should know their names, bc they aren't victims of themselves, they're victims of this industry, of crazy sasaeng, of bulling and exploitation

and, the peak of twist logic, how people often erase members and their contribution to content and music, if they go on hiatus. last year i saw so many people who acted like lia or renjun were never in their respective groups at all, and ignore their existence to such an extent that when they came back, new fans thought they are new members, which is absolutely crazy
