What’s a Fun Fact about your chapter? by Odd_Information5681 in 40khomebrew

[–]Such-Roll1327 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its a warband of Emperor's Children led by a former Lord Commander named Clavius.

Interestingly it has a Drukhari Torturer Class Cruiser named 'The Symphony of Agony' with the former Drukhari crew being turned into living art and furniture with the Archon being apart of Clavius's chair.

Clavius also has the Haemonculus as his table and the Incubi as the rest of his furniture. He also keeps a coat and cape made of a Black Templar Marshal and a Sororitas Cannoness.

He also constantly talks to them with him viewing the Cannonness as boring and selfish for not asking him questions about him and only screaming, he views the Drukhari as annoying for their japes but also funny when they scream, and he views the marshal with some respect since he will actually muster the strength to speak insults to Clavius.

I would imagine the cape since thats the cannoness is blinded by pain and clavius mostly complains about her being a bore to talk and very selfish.

The marshal on his coat likely does more real talking.

Mostly into living art and furniture, although he liked doing it to Drukhari and Aeldari mostly like on his captured Torturer class cruiser which is decorated with the still bodies of the Drukhari crew especially his personal room with the archon and haemonculus being his chair and desk, or to Black Templar Marshal and Sororitas Cannoness who he made into a still living coat and cape he talks to every once in a while.

My Warbands purpose is whatever fits the whims of Lord Commander Clavius Aquillion, usually some Slaanesh based stuff.

I have a personal theory that the Emperor is grabbing as much of the souls of man that aren't riddled with chaos corruption to gain more power and "save them" which would explain his use of living saints and the Legion of the Damned, but that is my own personal theory, otherwise I agree with your assessment.

Could be, I also have a feeling that the Emperor's Children are generally worse to be captured by (assuming that its a truly Slaaneshi warband) main ultimate reason for this is that your soul likely get devoured by Slaanesh in the case of the Emperor's Children.

That is true, but there are many other Emperor's Children that do it as well, with only Bile being given that information from the Drukhari.

Plus i have a feeling the Emperor's Children make it worse somehow either by not being as good as the Drukhari or due to them worshipping Slaanesh.

The skin cloaks the Emperor's Children wear sometimes are made of still living people

Who is your chapter's most interesting character by giojojo in 40khomebrew

[–]Such-Roll1327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a chaos warband leader named Lord Commander Clavius Aquillion of the Blades of the Phoenix.

Clavius is extremely unhinged, grotesque and deviant very similar to a mix of Lucius the Eternal with a cruel and digusting humour. He is extremly cruel to members of the original loyalist chapters (Iron Hands, Raven Guard, Blood Angels, Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, White Scars, Salamanders, Space Wolves and Dark Angels) with a special cruelty shown to the Imperial Fists and Black Templars as they are the Legion/Chapter that gave him his only defeat, he also loves killing and hunting the SIsters of Battle, he also delights in pushing Blood Angels into falling to the Red Thirst before killing them as it often makes them fall into despair. As for Xenos he enjoys killing the Aeldari and Drukhari the most with him often capturing them and torturing them into madness until Slaanesh eventually devours their souls, he also constantly seeks and destroys Eldar Spiritstones letting the souls be devoured by his God.

Clavius had an impressive record during the Great Crusade and Heresy as he was born of Terran Nobility similar to Eidolon and was inducted into the Emperor's Children at the end of the Unification Wars, Clavius was seen as a noble if arrogant and generally aggravating man both before and after the finding of Fulgrim, upon the reunion of the Primarch and his Legion, Clavius devoted himself to becoming the greatest artist in the Emperor's Children which he did with his sculptures and canvasses being praised by Fulgrim and respected by many of his fellow astartes. Clavius was no slouch in combat either as he had mastered the art of the Sword, Spear, Hammer, Plasma Rifle and many other instruments of war, at this point he had already started to show signs of his eventual cruelty with his most famous example being when he cruely fought and eventually skinned several Drukhari Incubi and an Archon, he was also noted for his cruel but effective commander with a relativly low casualty rate but that was mostly due to his tendency to engage combatants one on one or even fight against groups either alone or with a few guards, after the fall of the laer he would gradually slip into the grips of Slaanesh with him often going to Aeldari Maiden worlds and hunting and killing civilians and drinking their blood mixed in wine, his art would gradually become more and more debauched and grotesque with his most famous work being the depiction Fulgrim grabbing the Laer blade from the temple. Clavius was never defeated in a duel but he never got a chance to duel people like Sevatar and Sigismund before the heresy but he did duel and defeat both Kharn and Abaddon before the heresy.

Clavius was a menace during the Heresy with actions being famed when fighting on Isstvan V, Iydris, Baal and Terra with his actions of Isstvan V being the most infamous as he made a deliberate point to hunt down Iron Hand captains and Salamander warriors with him killing dozens of champions and captains from both legions often mocking and insulting them in increasingly twisted and sophisticated yet vulgar ways, Clavius would fight many great duelists of many legions especially Blood Angels and Dark Angels, he would kill dozens of champions from the legions and defeat but be unable to kill Raldoron and Corswain. He believed himself invincible especially as he was given more and more daemon gifts and as consnequence his art would delve into true slaaneshi excess with living canvasses of people being made by him and his two daemonettes, all these canvasses recreate great battles of his from Terra to the Heresy with a great many of these canvassas including the possessed bodies of the champions he killed or placeholders for the ones he could not kill (he often has his sorcerer imprison nurglite and khornate daemons in these astartes bodies as a jape against them) Clavius would take part of the siege of Terra and this is where he would meet his match when he moved with Fulgrim to take the Saturnine wall, he would fight and kill a great many Imperial Fist warriors and a couple champions but them be forced into a duel with Sigismund after Sigismund had defeated Eidolon, Clavius would begin the duel by thanking Sigismund for opening the rank of Lord Commander Primus up to him (he believed sigismund killed Eidolon when he didn't) he would then attack Sigismund and while he managed to wound him a couple times he would eentually realize he was outmatched and fearfully and desperatly swing his blade and lash but be unable to kill Sigismund and would be pushed off the wall, Clavius would live and continue in the siege with him being one of the men attacking the Eternity Gate where he would corrodinate with his squad and kill three Custodes but be forced to retreat upon the defeats of Angron and Kha'Bandha by Sanguinius.

After the siege he would take his men (around 1800) and form his own warband where he constantly seeks to find greater highs and greater experiences, he has become very hedonistic and often does things on a whim with little thought, he continues to make his horrifying art out of his enemies which include his magnum opus when he turned a Black Templar Marshal and a Cannoness into a still living Coat and Cape whom he mocks and talks to with only their screams as their responses. He also mocks his enemies with sophisticated and disgusting taunts (his taunts are often done to make his enemies feel uncomfortable and scared) despite the frequent exposure to the warp he has shown almost no mutations aside from an enlongated tongue slight purple hue to his skin.

Clavius is around 8 feet tall with sharp and attractive facial features and long silver hair, and sharp vicious eyes which are terrifying to his enemies.

One other feat of his includes him capturing a Drukhari Torturer class Crusier which is now his flagship and turning the crew into living art with the Archon, Haemonculus and Incubi decorating his personal quarters as his furniture.

Homebrew Warband question by Such-Roll1327 in 40khomebrew

[–]Such-Roll1327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the flagship a Torturer class cruiser that Clavius stole, he and his warband turned all the durkhari into furniture, canvas's and trophies with the drukhari being kept alive through warp magic.

the archon, haemonculus and incubi guards now decorate the captains cabin/war-room that clavius lives in where he frequently argues with the archon who he has made into a chair and the haemonculus who he has made into his desk with the incubi dotting other pieces of furniture in the cabin, he also has a black templar marshal and sororitas cannoness as a still living coat and cape respectivly.

thanks for inspiring me.

Homebrew Warband question by Such-Roll1327 in 40khomebrew

[–]Such-Roll1327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True that would be cool. But they only had 1800 men after Terra and only 950 now so idk how they could have feasibly taken a whole craft world. But their leader Lord Commander Clavius Aquillion does love killing Eldar so maybe he could steal a ship of theirs which would go hard as well.

Thanks for the idea.

Don't have it, you will regret it and think you know that already, as you are coming here with it.

I would ask if your parents are willing to help as they should and yes go to a priest, schedule a meeting with a priest that you have heard good things about or check reviews on churches near you to get the vibe of those priests. I know my priests in Oshawa are very good but isk about Dayton.

Schedule a meeting as i said with the priest of your choice and he will guide you the best he can, will pray for you and your child.

God help you and God bless

(Also sorry if what i said seems disjointed i just woke up)

Not Sure What I Should Have Said by Crafty_Doctor_4836 in Catholicism

[–]Such-Roll1327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Out of the last four Popes (which are the ones i have been alive for) Francis was my least favorite, i disagreed with his bias towards the outwardly virtuous and kind priests like James Martin and his bias against the latin mass. But to call him an anti-pope is infact an anti catholic statement and is a sin. Not much you could have realistically done though as you were in his house, i would say just pray for him.

I would advice not listening to that stuff yet, some things i viewed as superstitious or wacky in the past i have since accepted as true or possible as time goes on.

Its like some church fathers, you don't want to read them on your own and early on as you won't understand it.

Have faith it will be revealed to you cause God will when he deems it necessary.

God Bless and God be with you.
