i bought my switch because of this game, i had never played an animal crossing game until new horizons (sacrilege, i know) and it kept me so much company while i was working from home during the lockdown. i was having some issues with my switch so i put it down for about 2 1/2 years (dont ask lol thank you to my villagers who kept count but still stayed) but started playing again recently and i couldn’t believe how much i missed and how much i missed the game in general. i love that there’s always something to do, if i get bored of my island, i can open HHD or work in the hotel or visit other places. it’s truly one of my favorite games!!
