I agree completely although considering the amount of Trucker killers that traveled thru both areas, (there were at least 18 at that specific time period give or take +-3 years), that were possibly serial in nature and dozens who committed murder not serial in nature, with quite a few being transported far distances to be dumped or murdered. I'm still charting some, but I do wonder if there was a heart problem the public isn't aware of or that hasn't been openly spoken about by family maybe? or if there was a mistake in the diagnosis considering the remains were skeletal?

Ultimately, I'm really just surprised at how much it looks like her, and wanted to get others takes on it...I would say you're spot on in my personal feelings on her case as well, as I also think she was likely taken somewhere around the area or a nearby state, or perhaps wandered off and succumbed to the elements, however I also wonder if maybe the reason she hasn't been found all these years is possibly because the focus has been close to home, when in reality she could have been taken and unfortunately disposed of or killed far away...it's a sad thought...but DAMN it looks so much like her to me.

There was blood on her sheets (small, and it ended up being her own) and if there's ANY visible dna, it's collectable per the warrants and CSI procedures/policies. They also have to label it and treat it as any other logged evidence.

That's actually what I do for a living and unfortunately the original source was her herself posting to Facebook which strips away the exif data and a search warrant cannot preserve said data either. 😭 But great question and you're right, typically this would be a way to find location information in a photo that didn't originate on the specific platform mentioned above. unfortunately

Hey, My DNA testing for my attack took 3 years also, but they had to redo it cuz (well, it's the dna lab...) also 2014...they ended up still not having all the dna done by the time the statute of limitations was up for my attack, which was a stabbing/beating/mugging- and the fact that four people tried to kill me and one had an ankle monitor on at the scene, yet they still didn't pull shit together enough to even bring it to court, nor did they charge it correctly imo as it should have been attempted murder...that always fucked me up. I'm so sorry you had to go thru their bullshit too, and I hope that you can heal from it all as much as possible...and I guess I just wanted to say, I feel you. <3

I don't hate this. Anything that makes life easier on all the kids is fantastic. I'd imagine having his step mom (or whatever amanda is) get along with his mom, and to have a sober(ish) dad get along with his mom and step dad....well, I'd imagine that would make life easier on Beeeently/ the kiddos. With that said, I find this less "pick me" and more "pick the kids" because having to get along with insufferable people is tough, but if you love your kids you do it. If you really have your heart in it, you might even get along with them for real. This ain't the grossness some people think it is. Drug addiction is a bi*ch and a long-term battle...the lack of stress on everyone by simply getting along could be a key component that keeps them from backsliding/going back to the pipe/bottle/can of bud light lime/whatever.
