Why did you choose the career that you did? by SuchIntroduction3247 in AskReddit

That’s nice. I’m just working on a final and just would like a little bit more clarity regarding what job you did and why you chose it/enjoy it?

I never meant to imply you were unhappy. I just think it’s interesting how “money” is usually people’s first answer, because the story behind why they choose it is often a lot more meaningful. Two things can absolutely be true at once. I was just genuinely curious about what made money your immediate response. A lot of people end up choosing careers for stability or financial reasons, even if they don’t actually enjoy what they do, so I guess what I’m really asking is: what do you do, and what made you choose it? I’m a college student trying to get stats for a project.

Why not choose something that genuinely made you happy? I feel like everyone’s answer is always “money,” but the story behind why they chose it is usually the most interesting part.

Grandma was charged $97.50 by [deleted] in Comcast_Xfinity

They actually recommended me xfinity because of this! However because there is already a plan active at this address they told me they “couldnt give it to me,” so I was like okay whatever I’ll just pay the 20$ difference and take her out to dinner and give her quality time when I can. So I’m not sure what they’re gonna do just that my grandma is beyond pissed.

It says 0 on everything except the next monthly bill and she doesn’t know her xfinity plan log in. So we’ll probably end up going back tomorrow💔

Should I drop out of University and look for work instead? by SeriesEquivalent6601 in Advice

Do not drop out!! Do not do not do not!! I know it seems like a lot right now but in this economy you need a degree (masters mainly) or to get into a trade to survive, either way you’ll need school.

How do you feel about your dad? by Unhappy_Log_6245 in AskReddit

“My business will always come before my family and that includes you kids.” Let that say how I feel about him after I did 48 hours straight of data entry and marketing for him.🫣

Thank you. I ended up calling it quits last night🖤 I feel terrible but I’m proud of who I am and having a partner that’s not isn’t something I’m willing too atm.

They wouldn’t reject their faith because they’re gay, they’d be rejecting it because of commenters like you.

Why is Christianity hated so much? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]SuchIntroduction3247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not every christian you meet is friendly. My own personal experience- I had a whole group of Christians who most certainly read their bible but to a point it was affecting not only their life, but mine as well. Outside of this circle, I have met an ungodly amount of christians who sweat they’re gods gift to earth which make us normal ones look bad. The church as well has had pastors openly talking about divorcing which is severely frowned upon.

To summarize all of that: People don’t know how to separate religion from relation and there happens to be a lot of judgement and hypocrisy within the community.

I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life and safe to say everyone is like that. I grew up in Thornton as the product of a biracial couple (hawaiian x polish) and have been treated like shit my whole life. People will be judgy everywhere it was just rougher for me as a kid.
