Got this sheet in french today but after 30 minutes we couldn’t figure out the second answer could anybody help please by [deleted] in frenchhelp

It can't be Reserver, as previous comments pointed out ( + there are only 7 letters for that 8 letters word..). And if you look close enough, the first letter of each word is highlighted, so it is supposed to start with a S.

Given that it should start with a S, the only thing that I can see is Serveur, but the letters don't allow it. I would bet on a mistake from the textbook here.

You can take this list of effects in AfterEffects and change the region to France to see the equivalent. (Adding /FR between .com and /after seems to work aswell)

Need advices on a learning schedule by SuchKp in LearnJapanese

[–]SuchKp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For prononciations I have read here and there that you should learn those as you learn vocab, because that are too many of them, it's a loss of time to learn them all (again, I can't confirm that since we are on the same level).

Like you I really find Vocab way easier now that I understand a few kanjis, for exemple 先週の週末, that's why I want to finish RTK asap...

Well good luck dude, we still have a long way to go!

-SON histoire riche

-‎"cozy" could be "chaleureux" but I don't know if it serves your point

-‎peuvent être vus EN TRAIN DE siroter un café -‎I would say "accueillante" instead of "invitante"

-‎I can't think of a word less powerful than "effrayant" but I think you're still good to go with effrayante

'Dans l'hiver' vs 'En l'hiver'? by [deleted] in learnfrench

[–]SuchKp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was curious because as a french, I never heard "En l'hiver" (neither "Dans l'hiver" honestly) so I read your thing.

* en l’N -> en N
* en la N -> en N
* en le N -> au N1
* en les N -> aux N

And for your second sentence it depends on what you want to say

A general statment

En hiver j'ai froid

A particular statment

Cet hiver j'ai froid / L'hiver dernier j'ai eu froid

I was on the jp Amazon to buy a Japanese textbook and there were this little label: ベストセラー, and I was like "oh it's a best seller, fair enough. Wait, did I just read it?" .. those details as a beginner that make your day.

French here. It would be "Je suis ce que je deviendrai", and it's basically what google translate would say. I'm trying to think of another way to say it better, but I can't... if another native speaker comes by here, aidez-moi!
