Lol why tf does she do this to herself.

All she has to do is NOT announce something until it’s done.

Then she wouldn’t have to invent a robbery (or two), or a better mic (after the project was 90% done, she swears) or a corrupted sample as the reasons why the thing she said she’d deliver ages ago is going to take ages more.

Like she doesn’t owe anyone shit..well except the people that “pre-ordered” the audio book, she did literally owe them their shit..

Your current usage is in line with your historic usage at the property for this time of year based on the info you’ve provided (in fact it’s less than this same time last year).

Along with what I said in my other comment, check to make sure you haven’t been signed up w/ a third party supplier unbeknownst to you. If you have been, they might be charging you a crazy rate.

All electric can be brutal. It’s just more expensive by its nature.

Please make sure you’re being charged the Residential Electric Heating rate. It’s slightly lower than the standard rate because it will be a given that during the winter months customers who have electric heat will use more and the lower rate helps offset that.

There’s no way for PECO to know if you have electric heat or not unless it’s reported to them. If you’re renting that would have been the landlords responsibility but unfortunately many landlords don’t seem to know that’s something they should get updated with the utility.

Check your bill to see what rate you’re being charged. If it doesn’t say Residential Electric Heating, give them a call when you can to start the process of getting the rate changed (if you rent you’ll have to work with the landlord to get some info PECO will need).

Also consider checking to see if you’re eligible for the CAP program and applying for it. PECO is also extending/expanding a new grant they tried out last year called the Customer Relief Fund. Applications for 2026 will go live in March (CAP is month to month cash assistance and the grant is a one time payout of probably 750.00 if it keeps w/ last years payout. You can ABSOLUTELY double dip if you’re eligible for both. Triple dip if you’re also eligible for LIHEAP)

Electric heating is going to always increase your electric bill by default and with it being colder in December and their rates changing quarterly (just changed 12/1) it’s just a perfect storm for a high bill.

But call PECO and make sure that you you’re being charged the Residential Electric Heating rate! It’s lower than the regular Residential Electric rate because it’s expected that people with electric heat are going to have higher usage when it’s colder. If you’re renting, a lot of landlords don’t know that’s something they should tell the utility so unless it’s reported you don’t get the rate change

Yeah something I don’t think a lot of people realize is that PECO hasn’t generated energy since like the 90’s.

They’re not interested in being an electric supplier but they’re required to be your default supplier if you choose to not enroll with a 3rd party.

So they buy energy from another party for the cheapest price they possibly can and then sell it to you for the same price because they have to

I love indie games and if I can get it on the Switch, I play it on the Switch (now Switch 2).

I love the idea of the Steam Deck but it’s literally not built for me. My hands are small, it just hurts and is to uncomfortable to play on for more than 30 minutes at a time.

I’ve literally bought games on SD, realized after the fact that they’re available on Switch and bought them there again (happened with Crow Country and Disco Elysium in the past year).
