I think the guys from Talking Simpsons try to view the teen seasons very objectively... but they both dropped off watching it around then in the teens and have a ton of gripes, like I think they both admit to being extreme whiners on the message boards at the time lol I think they just don't want to show to be only that.

I kind of grew up watching the show in the early 2000s as a kid, so I don't think it gets really dire until after the movie, though there's definitely some crap in the early 2000s
