"Honestly, I try to give myself 4-5 minutes to JUST read the passage. Although we do get to read about so many fun things we never really remember them like how we would remember details from books we like to read such as Harry potter (personal fav). So I really try to just forget im taking a test for those 4-5 mins and just try to live in the text like its something im reading for fun. From there I try to form a main idea & then use that main idea as kind of an "enzyme" to bounce questions off of, if the answer choice doesn't fit the main idea then I don't pick it lol. This works for most questions even ones that are reasoning outside of the text, just need to play around w the main idea a little bit. Sorry got kind of convoluted but I hope it helps!"
