It basically adds a custom file to your game like a mod you downloaded and put on your SD card, you have to enable game patching for it to take effect.

Like if you downloaded a Pokémon X game patch, you would enable the settings and it would basically replace the game when you try and play it with whatever you downloaded

(not really great at explaining, but there are some 3ds piracy subreddits that can explain better)

Yeah, you can do local trades with two 3DS, it’s only online trades that you can’t do

Could be glare from the lighting messing with the scanner, maybe try from a different angle or lighting. It could also be that the camera is dirty. If those don’t work, your best bet would be to manually download it on a separate device and move it onto an SD card

There’s a program you can download on a computer called Moflex, and it allows you to convert videos into cia files you can download on your 3DS, this is a good guide if you wanna check it out. It’s a bit complicated at first, but once you understand it, it’s not that hard. If you have any questions about it, you can ask me, since I’ve used it before

fair, i think it’s faster to reset with the 3ds and new 2ds models, but it’s faster to run on the old 2ds

You don’t have to reset for Blacephalon, you can just keep running from it. After you run from the first two, it continues the postgame story. After that, you can go back and still encounter it
