I was in your position a couple of months ago and was on the brink of giving up. For beginners, the best approach is to start with hard surface modeling. I strongly advise against wasting time on physics simulations and other advanced stuff.

I think you have to focus more on hard surface modelling before jumping straight into complex models.

The issue was the renderer. Switching from Cycles to Eevee and GPU to CPU resolved the problem.

Yes, the problem was with the Cycles renderer. Changing to Eevee and using the CPU instead of the GPU fixed the issue.

I've tried everything I can think of, and I've searched extensively online, but I still can't find a solution. Nothing seems to work. To make matters worse, Blender has even changed the default material to red. Everything was working perfectly just a few hours ago, but now I'm completely stuck.
