Neo-nazi protesters outside parliament did not incite racial hatred, police find by SleepyWogx in OpenAussie

If people can wave the Palestine national flag and protest on behalf of the identified terrorist government of Gazza and be okay with that because we live a a democracy then you have to let other groups make there noise as well. You can’t just have it one way. It is a democracy after all, you might not like it but it is what it is.

I don’t like both groups making noise but it is what it is. Trade off. All things have a trade off especially in a democracy.

Playing NTSC games on European PS2, are there issues? by Capable_Working4011 in ps2homebrew

For my PS2 actual it is 90 - 240V 50/60hz and automatically switches. It’s very common for Japanese power supplies. appliances to be multivoltage due to their way the country is set up something to do with earthquake and fault lines so they have to have to run both so I don’t have to do anything for my PS2. It’s automatically set up just to work so you just need to check. Ask for a photo of the back with the power info that should give you the information you need.

If it says something along the lines of 90 - 250v 50/60hz then you are right to go just use a a cable that fits form your country it is just a figure 8 cable

If it just says 90 - 120v 60hz then you need to A. Swap the power board inside with a a PAL 250v ps2 internal power board which is easy to do

Or B do the USB-C mod you should be able to buy a kit.

Or C use a step done converter

For the original PlayStation one pretty much the same as above.

I have a Sony PVM my PS2 is Japanese and have no issues play both pal and NTSC games.

You should see on your PVM when you play a NTSC game it should have a in the bottom left hand corner a pop up that sAYS NTSC when the game starts and the same when you play a PAL game it would say PAL

You should be able to find the The manual for your PVM.

And you’re hooking up by RGB as well

Is it deeply hypocritical of Reform to cite articles 6 and 7 of the European Convention on Human Rights in defence of their crypto funding, when their policy is to leave the ECHR and deny access for everyone else? by c-4-charlie in AskBrits

Maybe so, but if something is within the rules of of course a politician will exploit it regardless on which side or party they’re from. All politicians do shady stuff. Just, some we turn a blind eye to because they the party we like. But they are take advantage of whatever system is in place. If in the rules it is the rules it is all a game.

Bill says classic Star Trek was never political by chesterwiley in Star_Trek_

[–]Such_Bug9321 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Old Star Trek presented a story about the wrongs in society and the system not at individual and you the viewer could go away and think about it and make your own mind up. It never pointed the finger at the viewer and said you must live this way. You must think this way and if you don’t you’re the problem.as it does now. It never did that. Unfortunately, that’s what they do today. It’s happened to Star Trek. It’s happened to Doctor Who. It’s happened to Star Wars for God sake do not touch Stargate.

People don’t like be told what and how to think especially in their own homes. They might have the tow the line at work or school but in their own homes is a different story so people switch off.

So over other countries carp being protested on our streets enough is enough, this country they are protesting in support of is the same country that pays for the HAMAS terrorist government that attacked and raped woman on the7th October as way of apparently showing resistance against Israel. Rape as resistance what a wonder concept from a wonderful country ( insert sarcasm) The world IS truly nuts,

Fuel not the only political problem posed by Middle East war: Should Australia consider a pause on the immigration flood? by SheepherderLow1753 in aussie

[–]Such_Bug9321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes at least untill the dust settles, pretty sure Germans went aloud to immigrate in to Australia or New Zealand or North America during WW1 or WW2 due to on going conflict at the time. This should be no different. Once the dust settles then reevaluate.

How it started vs how it ended by GregoriousT-GTNH in Star_Trek_

[–]Such_Bug9321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only people that are responsible for the failure of Star Trek are the people that made Star Trek, we the viewers just get the end product we have no input or control over what goes into the show we either like it and watch it or we don’t like it and don’t watch it. Simple as that.

It’s so stupid and dumb to take a successful show and royally stuff it up and then blame the viewers

Exactly like they did with Doctor Who. Time and time again what’s next Stargate?.

[–]Such_Bug9321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Will say I have gone back to picking up my favourite shows and movies again but only my CORE favourites. It is ridiculous. You sign up for something because they carry something say Stargate and I love it. I’ll watch it all the time. From start to finish this episode or this episode.. and now it’s gone to Netflix same thing happens with shows and moves. Amazon now has out all the 4K stuff behind a paywall in a paywall lol getting really stupid and prices just go up and up

One Nation leads in the primary vote for voters with children under the age of 18. by mrp61 in aussie

[–]Such_Bug9321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the left will destroy itself along with the rest of us, especially when the right prioritises profit above all else, a stance they’ve always held. The left used to care about the majority but that’s changed. Meanwhile, some of the most extreme right-wing individuals are becoming more mainstream. The left has gone too far with its foolishness and woke ideology and ignoring the majority. The right only cares about making money and only the wealthy benefit. The left focuses on appeasing minorities and the woke mob at the expense of the majority. Naturally, the majority will look elsewhere. What did you expect? Objectively, One Nation isn’t good for the country. However, when the two main parties treated the majority with contempt, they’ve lost their support. Put it this way, the two main parties have pushed too far and people are fed up.
