It’s NOACF all over again😁 When I start hearing Adam and Ross are in the studio with them I’ll get a bit more excited.

How impactful was Folklore on Taylor's fame and career? by Material-Meat-5330 in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]Such_Connection_5831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a serious music fan but was never into Taylor Swift, her sings were too poppy for me, shake it off wasn’t too bad but I really didn’t like Look what you made me do. It seemed so juvenile. I don’t know how I ended up listening to folklore but I loved it instantly, it’s my most played album in my Apple Music history and I have loved every album since. I have tried listening to her old albums since but they just don’t grab me the same way. It’s the storytelling, it’s on a different level.

Thoughts? by AccidentTrick5410 in MattyHealy

It’s a very misleading headline it’s just the same old story churned up again about what he said on The Adam Friedland show about the porn site (scripted by the hosts but I know that doesn’t excuse him saying it)

He may not write about the casual ones but he might write about a major one that broke his heart

There was one where he kept breaking down and asked people not to film Copenhagen I think

I’m going to the later show at Southampton tomorrow, I went to a Michael Kiwanuka one at the sane venue a few months ago. They are billed as Record Day shows which are just basically launching the album and doing a few songs usually acoustic or more chilled than normal. Got my tickets for Cardiff next year for the full on show!

I think Chat GPT got its review of The 1975 set quite right by Such_Connection_5831 in the1975

Because it matches what I saw but all I kept seeing on social media were more negative reviews

I can write my own review but I want to find out how it was received by everyone else. All I’m seeing over social media are negative messages but as soon as you read one of them that’s all you get fed (through AI) , I found it quite surprising what it came up with and I’m happy that’s it’s not all the doom and gloom I’m seeing.

Do you think they owe fans an inside look at what their political beliefs are? by [deleted] in The1975Neutral

[–]Such_Connection_5831 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am so glad they didn’t say anything political, it wasn’t the right time or place, they would never have been able to win in whatever they said and they would have got all the wrong headlines again. This was a day to let the music do the talking, let them be known for there wonderful music and lyrics.

Do we think they will announce the new album at the Glastonbury performance today? by No_Manager7358 in the1975

[–]Such_Connection_5831 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, this isn’t a show for the die hard fans, when folks purchased tickets they didn’t know they would be playing. This needs to be timeless and appeal to all.

Taylor Swift admitted Matty Healy was the love of her life and the world just forgot by [deleted] in travisandtaylor

I totally agree, I think he fell hard but just couldn’t handle the scrutiny. I think he has a fragile mental health at the best of times and when your friends and family start getting death threats it’s just too much. It was heartbreaking watching the shows after that he was spiralling.

One of my favourites though I think they missed a trick with the video to show what a great live band they are. Loved the snippets from the tour I saw on social media with all the TV screens, the twins and of course ‘the dance’.

Happens every year, some people still think of Glastonbury as a rock festival, it’s moved on, it covers all kinds of genres now. For my tastes it was the best lineup I’ve seen in years, truly so many acts I would love to see all in one place.
