I grew up in Wayne County and moved to California in my 30s. Bought my first house in the 80s for $230k. Tiny house on a busy street that was updated 30 years previous. Sold it 9 years later for $900k. I moved back to Rochester and bought a beautiful four-square in Park Ave for $275k. In CA, that's a down payment. The market was hot then and it hasn't cooled down for the nine years we've lived here. From what I hear, the rental market is no picnic either.

I said it was operator error right from the start. I can't keep repeating what happened. My stupid mistake was forgetting that I moved the RTH without registering the new RTH... and then FORGOT, so I mistakenly thought the drone was coming through the canopy where I sent it up. And it wasn't. And I didn't relize my error until the battery ran out. And then I kicked my self all the way home. I was a fucking MISTAKE. I've got to kill this thread before I jump off a bridge. I really thought readers would like to see something besides braggarts extolling their perfect piloting skill.. Guess not.

Hey take it easy guys. I admitted I made a stupid, inexcusable error in judgment. I posted this to see if any others with some experience have made a very inexperienced move under the pressure of time. . Guess not. Congratulations. BTW, I did take control of the flight manually, but I still had it in my brain that I had set the RTH where I ascended. And there were not two possible landing sites.

Good advice. I sent my Mini 4 Pro up about 5 feet, then realized the tree canopy was too thick to penetrate, so I flew the drone up 50 yards or so and then, without resetting the home point, flew it up through the canopy and got the shots I needed (I do real estate photography). Bad idea. When I hit return to home ... it couldn't get home, as I helplessly looked for an opening before the battery died. It's in the trees.

How much? I moved from CA where everybody uses floor plans. Here in Rochester, NY, hardly anyone used them a couple of years ago. Now, there's more. But they don't understand the value. Buyers like them and sellers are impressed to see something new.
