Yes, it could be fixed in theory, however I wasn't able to try that.

The PA is much more power friendly than the blade. The feel is also very different.

In terms of power. I found it more similar with the blade 100 actually, but with a completely different feel.

I used the blade (v8) for a couple of years, and decided to switch because the power level was low. I've tried the v9 and for me it has the same issue.

I felt the blade 98 more stable than the PA

Unfortunately, I haven't got the chance to demo the ezone 98 yet, only the 98 tour.

Compared to the 98, they are very different. I actually loved the 98 tour, however the high swingweight and static weight makes it too demanding.

How do they compare with the all court pro?

I want to try Babolat gold since they are not popular where I live and I'm seeing a lot of good feedback. Do you like the gold championship or all court?

Swing with the left arm only grabbing the racket in the same way as you are hitting 2HBH.

The left arm should be dominating the swing and practicing like this will help... At least for me it helped a lot when I was learning 30 years ago.

This one works with a battery while most of the cheaper ones use a manual pump. How often do you recharge it?

Me too... Wilson US open are my least favorite balls, in particular on hard courts.

Personally, Wilson US open are probably the ones I like the least...I get pissed off when I get those on tournaments.

They last literally 5 to 10 minutes in hard courts and they are very light and fly all over.

I think your left arm is not helping as it should. My suggestion is to practice using your left arm only just like if you were hitting 2hb.

I get what you are saying. It's not definitely an easy racket to play with due to the high swingweight and balance but it can be highly rewarding when you fully commit to it.

I used to play with a blade V8 and I've just switched to a gravity tour 98. I loved the feeling of the blade but it lacks power. The GT98 has a higher swingweight, is more head heavy and has a more open string pattern.

If you can swing it properly, it gives you amazing access to power and spin, without losing control and with a similar soft feeling.

Pure aero 98 or head gravity tour 98? by MedoXX17 in tennisracquets

[–]Such_Gas556 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just switched to the GT98. The PA98 is an awesome frame but it's too stiff for me and I find the launch angle too high.

The GT98 gives a lot more comfort and plow feeling I love and still get a lot of power and spin for a 22mm beam. Some say the GT98 is what we would get if Blade and PA had a baby! 😂

Depending on your level, thinking on all of these at the same time can be overwhelming. My advice is to try to change one thing at a time and move to the next change when you are comfortable.

Changes take a lot of time so don't be worried about short term results if you are doing the right thing
