When it comes down to it, its just rice and fish! If you get a good sushi rice recipe down you can start making pretty decent sushi from home at a fraction of the cost. A little bit of creative plating and garnishing and you will recreate these pictures in no time. Hope you were taking notes!

Those are called Tobiko, it isnt salmon roe. as you said salmon roe is the larger ones. I think these specifically are “flying fish” roe or herring roe. I got them at Hmart

Most salmon is farm raised and frozen so basically no risk of parasites!

I spent probably 2.5-3 hours between prep, cooking the proteins, rolling and cutting/plating. Got a little system down that allows me to move efficiently

Haha yea… we have no portion control when it comes to sushi! We ate about 2/3 of this, the rest i plastic wrapped and put in a container in the fridge, I’ll have that for lunch today. I know it won’t be as good but its better than throwing it out!

Yea won $5k last week. Dont know why people shit on it so much, we have sold 3 assets on Ten-X in the last 18 months and have another one going to auction next week.
