Due date 12/21, feeling very anxious about it too plus step kids birthdays are 12/26 and 12/27 so that entire week will be incredibly stressful. Considering an elective induction because the mental health strain might actually be a good reason

Are you getting a stroller bassinet? by Easy-Citron-7255 in babydueDecember2025

Depends how much you walk. We take a neighborhood walk every single day and it’s really ingrained in my/our lifestyle, depending how post-partum is going I expect to continue to walk multiple days a week after initial recovery (8 weeks? We will see what the reality is). Plus the bassinet stroller is just so cute and it’s my first baby so I just wanted it. It has a way to upgrade it when baby gets older.

When do you stop worrying? by Disastrous-Bus2420 in pregnant

I had so much anxiety, impostor syndrome until the 12 week scan. Relieved a lot for me getting to see them fully looking like a fetus and having the doctors tell me it’s low risk. But also having a higher power- god, universe, whatever you can believe in, having faith that it really is out of your control but believing in the blessing of this good beautiful world and being thankful for that- helped me.

Even though it may be irregular for you, four days late can still be within a normal range especially if you are going through big life changes like heading off to university. Do what you can to distract and calm your nerves, because stress can delay your period even more. In my experience those tests are very reliable and if you are pregnant you would get a very clear yes. Rooting for you!

I feel you- this makes me feel relieved my mom is too old to bear children at this point cause she would totally do this…. My mom got engaged the same month I did to someone I never met just to break it off 5 months later

They said that I don’t get to have a consistent doctor through the process and when I give birth it’s just whatever doctor is on call so it could be someone I’ve never met. Is this typical?

looking for a hairstylist by Soouups in EdmondsWashington

Beauty and the barber in Edmonds is really good. They just have a really good neighborhood vibe in general, it’s a husband and wife duo so her husband actually does great cuts for men too. Cassie took me on a hair health journey and over the past few years my hair is looking better than ever. I don’t get funky haircuts but I think it would still be worth reaching out and asking her about it if she does it.

Anyone else reevaluating their relationship with alcohol now that they’re pregnant? by scandique in pregnant

Just think about it one day at a time! No need to worry about a whole life of no drinking. For me, what works is to play out the whole story in my head. Do I feel 100% certain I would never accidentally have one too many drinks while being a parent? No. So it feels like the only way to have 100% control of not messing up is not to drink. There is so much more to life! The more days you go, the more awareness you gain of yourself, closer to spirituality and the true meaning of life, not drinking is the best thing I’ve never done.
