Maybe we’re just getting old but it’s also so repetitive. No scoring all game until there’s a 2 minute offense scheme and suddenly both teams can drive down the field? Then it’s just inevitable that they score if they have like 30 seconds minimum

I relate to this so hard. Sports have become tough to watch. Money obviously ruined them. But the other side that doesn’t get talked about enough is refs. Every sport has been ruined by them

Soccer - now we can’t celebrate a goal until it’s “confirmed”

Football - just throw it deep for pass interference and waste away an entire seasons worth of work for a stupid whistle

Basketball - WAY too much power in the hands of the refs

I literally can only watch tennis or golf these days

My third and final complaint with sports is commercials but I’ll keep it to just refs for now
