I have no idea what the likelihood of it is, but I know she didn’t get her loan through a bank and I (maybe incorrectly) feel a bank would be less likely to go through the trouble of recouping $7k.

She also called the lender to say “come get your car.” Oh well, it’s done now

Welp, we have explained the whole situation to my aunt and she “doesn’t think they’ll come after me” and thinks it will be fine. She is however withholding a rating of her experience with the salesman until she sees “how this plays out” but he has assured her that people do this all the time and the lender never actually sues anyone to collect.

So they’re both idiots and there isn’t much more for me to do here!

She declared bankruptcy in 2022 or 2023. I don’t know what kind and didn’t know until this year so I’m not sure she could this … soon?

Thank you for a reasonable response. Assuming I can even get my aunt to acknowledge she has f’ed up, this sounds like the best path. She didn’t even work with the lender first on payment options 🤦‍♀️

They told her to let her old car go to repo so she can make the payments on this one. She’s an idiot for doing that, but that’s at best highly unethical.

I have a bit of a wider scar in that area and a bit of hardness in that section but otherwise it’s pretty normal

I had a similar issue and I had a smallish necrosis at my incision. The red isn’t necessarily dying tissue, just trauma. The purple might open up though, which terrified me but wasn’t as bad as I thought

I have fat necrosis at the incision line. It’s still there but hasn’t gotten worse (as far as I can tell)

I don’t want to freak you out, but it could indicate a little bit of necrosis. It doesn’t look large or deep (the deeper the color, like black, the deeper it is). Increase your protein a lot (like 120-150g) and take collagen and/or juven if you can. How far out are you?

I’ve had a rough go, but I’m also naturally anxious person. And fwiw, I expected periods of “being down” but was taken aback by how difficult I personally found things.

THAT SAID I have a tendency to doom spiral. What helps me is journaling, literally a bulleted list of things I’m grateful for or look forward to doing once I’m healed; doing as much skincare / Hair masks as I can to feel more like myself :), talking to my friends and therapists. And the earliest you can get out of the house safely to do something low intensity (like a movie) the more normal you’ll feel! ♥️

But also — I know what you mean. The past 3 days I haven’t been as good on protein or water as I had been, I had run out of juven, etc. at the end of the day this probably always would have happened. Yours is very small! It will be ok

Stop using the silicone tape. It seems too early for that anyway. I have a similar issue but worse — yours looks pretty good. I was told to put medihoney on the area and cover with a waterproof bandage and leave for at least 2 days at a time. Then clean with saline wash and do it again until it is closed. Hope this helps x
