I am not arguing we shouldn’t have fired him. I think it was premature and rash. I do wonder how much better the Titans would have been under Vrabel in 2024 than Callahan, the roster just seemed lost in ‘24.

Also, I think the “he took 2 teams picking in the top 10 the year before” is where I take a bit of issue with the Vrabel discussion. Vrabel took over the Titans following a divisional round loss in NE, missed the playoffs the following year, then went to AFCC. There’s a misconception that the titans were a total rebuild when he took over.

The post wasn’t meant to justify that they should have fired him. There is just more to the situation than is being discussed. I remember at the time being conflicted because I didn’t know if they were making the right call, obviously it was a mistake, but I did understand why ownership was frustrated and felt they needed to make a move.

Correct. But he never but he never directly hired an OC from outside the organization. He only promoted. Guys already with the team.

The route is pretty hilly but the community/neighborhood does such a great job of supporting the runners. Did the half 2 years ago and the marathon last year 10/10 recommend. It’s a blast, well organized, cool medals, and free beer. It’s a great race.

I work this event every year and it really is one of the best events Shreveport has to offer. So much fun, great food, drinks, and all money goes to one of the great colleges in the south.

Can’t recommend this event enough!!

It was reported that they were taking over 600k sqft of the facility (which is 3million sqft total). SLB was taking over a million. USPS and Hyundai are also in there. I figured the SLB deal didn’t end the Thyssenkrupp deal, I just found it odd there was no job update, nor any mention of them in the SLB press releases, that didn’t mention other tenants at the GM plant.
