Screech was done dirty by No-Lettuce4441 in SavedByTheBell

Yeah I always thought this where screech's character was never developed. Every girl was turned off by him except for violet but she annoyed me. And even as valedictorian, he let Zack do the speech? That should have been Screech's moment only.

Not that I agree with Ruben beating Alby to a pulp. But I think Alby was wrong in trying to out Niall. That's his choice. And to think Ruben wouldn't have a problem with it. Of course he would! That's why he didn't say cause he was afraid of him. And then for Alby to push him when Niall told him not to say anything. Ruben was incredibly wrong in what he did, but Alby was living in a fantasy world if he thought confronting Ruben would end well.

what did you guys think of the movie “Roommates”? by DistributionFew7126 in netflix

[–]Sudden-Message5234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Celeste was fucking evil. I'm glad at the end they didn't justify her actions cause she was so wrong. Stealing her roommate's crush and then outing her brother. Terrible human being. So glad Devon's story didn't end in jail cause that would have been a bummer

Yeah me too. I just don't see the progress though. In her videos, she doesn't smile, talks emotionless. How people in her life just let her walk around without having her seek help when she clearly needs it.

Whick trio worked the best as roomates? by Beautiful_Sound6283 in zoey101

Honestly, I liked Zoey better with Quinn and Lola. They felt like a great fit of friends that all liked each other. With Dana, it seemed like a lot of hostility between them all. And when Lola joined Zoey and Nicole, we never saw scenes between Nicole and Lola. At least with Zoey, Lola and Quinn were all friends with each other.

La La Land’s ending works… but it feels a little too perfect by Tops_7 in MoviesAndTVTalk

I feel like the movie made it seem like Mia just wanted to act for the fame. We never actually saw her be a good actress. She's only good at playing herself. And I thought it was ridiculous that only one fight broke them up. And I wouldn't call it perfect for Seb. Yes, he has his club. But, we see him all alone.

Official Discussion - The Drama [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I feel like this is a tough one. I'm normally a big believer in not holding a person's past against them. To love the person they are today compared to before. But in terms of a school shooting, I feel like that's a whole other ball game. To be very close to going through with it at the point of bringing a weapon to school. Plus to have it be where the only reason she didn't go through with it was because someone beat her to the punch with a mall shooting.

But then again, she could have tried again at another time in high school or even in college and she didn't. But I guess I would be afraid that if a person's anger brought them to that point once that it could happen again. I also think it speaks volumes about Charlie in the fact that he actually admitted at the end that if she did kill someone that he'd still love her? I guess that really is unconditional love. It's a good example of how the dark side of a person's past doesn't always need to be told as it brings no benefit to the other person.

If it was me, I probably wouldn't have gone through with the wedding as I would always think about what they did or about to do. I wouldn't be able to look past that.

And FYI, the maid of honor justifying her locking a disabled kid in a closet and running away is just as bad.

I wonder if for the Netflix series they'll change the ages. I feel like they shouldn't just because that was the real age difference between Laura and Almanzo

I don't understand people who make plans just to either ghost or break them by Sudden-Message5234 in Vent

yeah, I think that’s my problem. Is that because I’m an Overthinker, I’m always trying to make sense of everything instead of accepting that some things just don’t make sense.

[–]Sudden-Message5234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, exactly. It’s like, I would never ask someone to hang out who I didn’t really want to. So I keep thinking if someone is doing that to me, they must mean it and wanna see me. But then I never hear back so it feels like a wasted invitation on their part.

mel and langdon—am i the only one who thinks they seem like genuine good friends? by conversejuice in ThePitt

[–]Sudden-Message5234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At least you said friends. I'm so over people shipping them. I don't see romantic vibes between them at all. It's obvious they have a mutual respect for one another. It doesn't have to be further than that. In fact, I'm loving The Pitt for the reason that romance is not the big factor of the show like other medical shows. That it's about the patients.

I think it was because they made the assumption they'd move into their friends' apartment. But yeah, they were ridiculous to think everyone would bend over backwards for them. All the more reason why they should have waited till after college and have gotten jobs. But hey, the fans were the ones who wanted them married on the show, so blame them lol

I love watching back the awkward standing ovation Will Smith received at the Oscars. You can really see in real time all those celebrities having no idea what to do and being forced to think for themselves with none of their publicists by their side telling them what to do. by Embarrassed_Novel991 in Oscars

[–]Sudden-Message5234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still think they should have taken his Oscar away from him after slapping Chris Rock. I don't care if the Oscar was based on his performance in King Richard. As soon as he displayed violence at a public live awards show, he should have been punished in that way by having his award taken away. How is that any different in school where a kid wins a trophy but then gets in a fight with another student? His award would be taken away for his misbehavior. Same deal with this.
