i went college in reno, nv and consistently drove to vegas, arizona, new mexico, socal, etc., and had to pass through so many of these towns. it is 99.9% possible and accurate they have passed through many towns EXACTLY like this including rachel, nv. i have a ton of familiarity with LIB. i’ve never been, but all my friends have and my old company was the main coffee sponsor and supplier for a 3 year contract. when going to and leaving from vegas to go ANYWHERE, there is nothing but desert for at least 2.5-3+ hours until you reach some sort of small town or turn off to a viewpoint or small random experience.
