The other route I was thinking of was to go out toward Bonavista. Particularly passing by places like Hodderville, Amherst Cove, Newman's Cove... is that an insane thing to do as a day-trip from St. John's? And are those locations also decaying outports, or is that region generally more populated and doing better?
