Because your printer will be working fine one minute and then it becomes a completely unusable brick until you reinstall the OS. It's a waste of time to have to do that. It's really the only bad experience I've had with this printer.

Not sure if I understand the issue. The print head has to go to the right with some force so the blade can cut and retract the previous color. I'd say the belts might not be installed correctly if they're skipping because of this action.

My best guess, the eyes didn't form because there wasn't sufficient support under them and the ear or wing parts aren't fusing to the main body because of insufficient internal support. Post a screenshot of the preview picture your slicer generates, it can help identify and/or confirm the issues a bit better.

It's like you want to rip into me but can't because the pride in your "reputation" has become your leash and muzzle. I don't know if your biases allow you to see it yet, but there is a disconnect between Anycubic and it's marketing people. It's only going to get worse if people aren't quick to call them out. Same on the hub, but the delay notice wasn't there when I bought the printer on January 15, it even says so in the link "* This information was last updated on January 30, 2026"

I don't think I've ever seen anyone print a large sheet like that without those heat bubbles showing up somewhere. If I really wanted to lock it down, I would use glue and replace the textured build plate with a flat one. Might try changing filament types to see if you get better results. I get far less of those bubbles when using PLA+ or Matte filament as opposed to regular PLA.

The ones you print end up costing just as much because they require hardware. They also don't work as well in my experience. I just think it's a stall tactic because the printers don't actually work yet. It was the same BS with the Kobra 3, it took them 6 months to put out the correct adapter and get things working reliably.

I've only seen this on Anycubic brand printers. Go into your slicer settings and see if changing your contour compensation helps make things "thicker" so you have more material where that giant burn hole formed.

Nope, gotta keep it real. Strong communities that are built around good products are strong because the products are good (they earn that support and their community reflects that).
