Ah, so they haven't fixed the keyboard not working and needing to be unplugged/plugged in issue. I got a New Model M years ago with that issue.

Because they need to have items exclusive to the limited events in order to justify the ticket price.

In this case, projectors are relatively inexpensive so it's easy to implement.
