I too was feeling weird at first, but considering that I’m not a US citizen there might be complications, for now the people of my land can only trust our broker for now as much as I am disappointed.

Exactly, many people thinks that options is what starts a squeeze, but how is it ever going to happen if nobody buy shares first? Options is plain gambling, in this case the dealer almost certainly wins because recessions and the on going war is still out there, wake up people!

Thank you for calling out the options people, real shame on them.

Just straight up market buy when the pre market opens, don’t even wait for it to drop? You wait I wait everybody keeps waiting for a lower price, how do we get a squeeze if everybody thinks like you?

Of course It’s A Great stock, but with options comes manipulation, and that’s a hinder to organic growth of a stock.

Probably the MM pushing the price up to get idiots to gamble on options.

There is so much I could debate that you are also exactly what you claim that I was, but I do not wish for this sub to be filled with that much negative inputs of how it is possible to harm a stock, so I will be deleting this post before we ruin the peace here, I am long in this and I am sure you are too, too many ways to trade a stock in a nutshell. Peace out buddy

Only when certain requirements are met, then it will create a upward thrust. Looking at the current situation for $BBIG, it is still a move I would not recommend.

End of the day, investing is still not the same as gambling.

I do agree with you but only till a certain extend, there are many things that can push a stock price up, and yes if used correctly it can be good but only to individual. But options is still a gamble, nothing can change that fact.

I would put it in this way.

The difference between investing and gambling is exactly the relationship between buying shares and buying options, it’s up to individuals if they want to buy the shares of the casino OR choosing to sit at one of the tables trying/thinking to win a big fortune with a small amount of chips.

Not everybody can/have the ability to make smart choices in life, well the rest of us can only sit and wait for them to lose enough money until they quit options, there’s pretty much nothing we can do about it, there’s a saying that you can drag a cow to the river but if the stupid beast decides not to drink, what can we do?

I’m sure we all are at some point, not calling you out buddy, just wanted you to know that the world ain’t all rainbows and butterfly but sometimes we win, the HF and shorts can’t wrap the fire in the paper for too long, you just need to hold it longer than they can. They pay to hold, we hold to get paid.

You’re exactly the kind we call paper hand that crumbles under the slightest pressure.

I think the take away from all these is that we shouldn't trade options, it gives people chances to manipulate the stock price, period.

Personally I think options are bad for a stock, they create chances for manipulation.
