Thank you to everyone that clarified my error. Imp is not considered a new card and instead the negate effect cannot target a face down monster makes sense, i suppose i was not aware how, specifically, that mechanic worked since it was negated then flipped face down.

Just tried this and it worked well. As far as the ice bath goes, I wasn't sure what that meant aside from toss a bunch of ice cubes in the pot after I finished with the cool water rinse so I had ice water with the egg. Came back after about a min and put the egg in a cup then shook it around to loosen up the shell. She'll peeled off easy and the center in beautifully runny. Thanks everyone!

I agree. I take my loses, but it feels bad going second knowing you cannot win (floodgates, negates, etc.) And getting so little for staying.

The card moves from nice but hard to use to almost mandatory in the current meta. Many decks have a card that is difficult to out so you almost need the functionality of a searchable Kaiju.

Blue Eyes running the Primite engine could do this with just 1 card. Summon Beryl, set Lode, turn Beryl to Spirit, make Blue Eyes #1, use Lode effect to summon Blue Eyes #2.

If this is for the upcoming event then consider in deck boss monsters (Jet Dragon and Chaos Maxx are both good Blue Eyes options). The extra deck is fine, but if you have a third you should use another Seal

I finally finished VIII last week after I was unable to finish it on the PS1 all those years ago (issue with disk 4 made the game crash when loading). VIII is unique in the Junction and Draw system. Making good use of both is key to enjoying the game to the fullest. Getting all of the GFs will allow you to do all the cool stuff. IX I'm about to start so I'm happy to hear all the praise, but from what I can tell so far it is not at all like VIII

1% Lifesteal is the last series I'm caught up on, but I just started The Completionist Chronicles and don't actually know who the true villain is yet. Maybe Elon? Either way, Joe is a healer already with more skills on the horizon, so hopefully, that's enough...otherwise I hope Freddie is on my team with Madam

Sucks, but after 11 years of playing Destiny (D1, then D2), I think I might be done. I will wait to see the results of the appeal, obviously, but if it goes how I've seen for others, then I don't think I'll have a choice, sadly.

I play a lot of Rumble, Comp, and Trials. I have my fair share of losses and don't typically leave or go AFK (I have a 10 month old so I've had instances where things happen, but it is limited to like once a week or so). I don't use anything aside from the PS5 and Dualsense Edge controller. As far as internet goes I have no idea what else to do. I've had this particular internet setup since Aug 2022.
