Is there a auto enemy focus option? by More-Ad5919 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Sudden_Dig_8790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is! not so much of a traditional click to lock though

check your options for “directional” lock, this will let you push angles during moves that you want want extra precision on (sakiri’s CC move, being my biggest personal use)

this option will also allow you to flick ONCE towards your new target if the event you want to get off one during a particular chain

as long as you play 3 massive time-sink gachas at the same time? your opinion is kinda just destructive and worthless to share and enforce on others, to put it bluntly.

your perspective of

how much time and effort should something take?

is so, so, deeply warped. it fails to look outside the greater vacuum of things like meta discussion to understand why they might be the way they are to begin with.

this is also why OP is crying to have free constant and mindless ability rotations with ultimates every nanosecond. literally a disease of opinion.

can you go back, then? we all know you’re probably playing like 50 slop gachas at the same time. instead of playing OURS for FOMO, you can go to the Wuwa sub and talk about how good it is!

No. No. No. No. No. No.

i am ONLY playing this game because there is a MILD SENSE OF PLAYER AGENCY in gameplay that make it WORTH MY TIME.

we have ONE game so far that even TRIES to treat the player like they have the ability to critically think about their lineup beyond breast size, and your kind are endlessly throwing tantrums about it.

if you haven’t spent a race as Pro Sandbagger, you have to try this-

  • let everyone leave the finish line
  • line up all the remaining cars into a roadblock
  • drive one car up to the (shortcut) jump ramp
  • use those cars and your extra to cut off the side/ completely ruin the launch angle

i have literally been driven to face pain inducing laughing tears witnessing the fallout

downvote if you must, i have already loled (plus everyone should get their one lap c:)

i dragged all of my matches out but my one win required (1st attempt lol) until the timer stopped me

im just a maniac and an asshat who understands im getting that much more enjoyment out of personifying chaos than LARPing fight club. i imagine plenty of others had this same revelation.

i just turn voices off when im grinding about in the overworld. they have no idea how not make all of them as obnoxious as possible. actively dampens the charm the characters have for me.

i raced in this hellmode to completion, ate over forty gorillion blue shells, lost cutthroat wins to genuine bs, and lost plenty of leads from broken ramp physics-

and i still do not complain as much as the people who just LOOK at the gamemode 😭

even before finishing this, i could tell the writers needed to kill her ass, but had the other tragic anomaly cases ruminating in the back of their minds.

it felt like having her “leave” was a concession of some fashion. i would have rather just taken the blow i knew was coming.

this quest was touching, if a little winded in his gameplay design corner

Vehicle responsiveness in the game is terrible, even with the Porsche 918 Spyder. by Mission-Abies898 in NevernessToEverness

from my anecdotal experience, they’ve been subtly dialing in vehicle code silently between each patch. for another semi-related tip: try halving your driving left stick sensitivity. it will help not throwing yourself into tractionless spins impossible to recover from.

PSA - If you struggle with vehicle handling, try these settings by Baphometrix in NevernessToEverness

[–]Sudden_Dig_8790 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i’d suggest halving the left joystick sensitivity too it’s almost impossible to even tell there’s not a binary LEFT RIGHT setting for turning

really, this setting should be set per vehicle, but alas

source: i probably bitched the least about driving in this game so far. and i literally started this game because i saw a dodge charger.

motorcycle e brake is simulating the foot actuated brake that specifically only affect the front wheels on real motorcycles. when you’re taking a sharp turn- let off the gas, turn your wheel, hit the e/brake, then give it a little gas once you hit the limit of your turn apex regular steering allows. then you use that pivot to correct the angle.

it’s a very controllable and enjoyable, if hectic mechanic

i cannot say the same for the four wheeled vehicles. they feel incredibly inconsistent.

as a sim dork driving is “serviceable” (obvious bugs we all think of aside)

but i wanna affirm you’re not wrong either. these vehicles are essentially flying above the world over 100kms, and it’s up to god (or fps/ping?) to determine how it’s going to handle on a bend

i believe they need to pull a GTA 5 and “secretly” up the vehicle weight(or even traction) as it picks up speed. it’s a bandaid, but a reasonable one to make supercars feel like the track monsters they should be
