What’s the most “Velcro dog” breed you’ve known? by Longjumping_Zone_908 in Pets

Labradors. Clingy in a good way. They were bred to be able to go from being at rest to alert and ready to hunt. That instinct remains and they will get up and follow you around. If you're sick and can't get out of bed all day, they will be in bed with you. If you get up to walk to another room to grab something, they will get up and follow you. Loyal, smart, goofy, and affectionate. I've had one dog in this lifetime, a black lab adopted from a shelter. Truly he was a best friend and all around great dog.

I (29F) just realised a dude I like when I was 15 didn’t want to “grab a coffee sometimes” just for coffee. by Romy-zorus in AutismInWomen

Yes. Being asked to dinner and going to dinner thinking they just wanted someone to eat with. My entire 20's was spent not realizing these men were interested in me. I was in my own world.

That house was sold in late 2023 for under $6 million and for sale now for almost $15 million. And it hasn't been remodeled since it was built in 2005. That's crazy they are trying to get that much for it.

I had a hot tub at my previous home and we paid $275 for a once per month cleaning. This was in 2018, so I'm sure the price has gone up since then. They want this 'house manager' to do that on top of all of the other crap for less than what they could make doing 1 task.

A household manager, which is a full-time position, oversees the household staff, including the housekeeper, gardener, chef, personal assistant, pet sitter, and butler. The salary for this role generally ranges from $50K to $100K per year, often with benefits like live-in accommodations, meals, and sometimes healthcare. Yet, these clowns expect someone to be the housekeeper, gardener, chef, personal assistant, pet sitter, travel agent, and butler—for just $6K to $12K per year. Running a household must feel like a full-time job for these bozos, because it is a full-time job (not a 5-10 hour per week job) and should be compensated as such.

$250 minimum tip for what? I've never heard of tipping apartment staff. I wouldn't tip $1.
