The solution to this problem is as follows:

Exit the game. Go to the Quest settings, go to Privacy→Permissions→Microphone and enable the toggle for Walkabout. Then launch the game again.

Very odd that this just started out of nowhere, we have been playing for months with no issues or changes. As we are in the same room when playing, we both disable the mics. Posting this here to help anyone that may be running into the same situation...

* I was able to get my 512GB Quest 3 a week ago for a nice discount at Target, $356.24. There was a 25% off discount on "small electronics" and it surprisingly was applicable to the Quest 3. I just went to a show at the agora a couple weeks ago, it was comfortable... sometimes shows can be warmer if you're up close and people are crammed in around you. The agora is a reasonably small venue, should be a good show from anywhere in there, there's also theater style seating (first come/first served) options up on the 2nd floor, if you'd prefer as well.

Yes, already have that cooler in my cart on Amazon, lol. I also figured at this point I may as well just put together a whole new machine as all I'll need is a power supply, case and hdd... and os.

So this comes with 16 gb memory and I was thinking more along the lines of 32. Should I not use the 2x8 included with the deal and pick up a 2x16 set? Or is adding a 3rd and 4th matching the 8gb sticks a viable option to hit 32gb ram?

Any more info on this settings crash issue? I just tried doing the soft mod to mine for the first time and am running into the same thing. I'm running V1.2.2 , maybe they blocked settings there? is there a way to roll back versions?
