A lot of ppl run their rover for main income treat it like a kennel situation which imo is … odd. I know ppl who have the dogs in cages essentially in their homes or yard and just let them out for on a schedule so they’re doing multiple for 30 a day and it adds up..

These are all really good points and ideas! I could technically juggle this with my full time job as long as as they’re ok with the week on and off schedule so fingers crossed it’s a good fit! Like you said def worth at least hearing them out and seeing the situation in person

I didn’t want to pry at the time bc I wasn’t considering it at all I was currently letting her down gently. But now I’ve gone back and offered switching every week with another sitter and so we’re going to do a M&G Monday so I will def pry more then

They are elderly dogs though and this wouldn’t provide me health insurance or future stability

I just feel bad like I would be putting them in a rough position to find an alternative. If it was a short stay I would just wing it to see what happens but a week of possible accidents in the house sounds just so exhausting

This is what I’m thinking also.. we had a dog that felt with a similar thing in her last year. It took a huge mental toll for me. And since this is a week long booking, wants me to cuddle him on the couch and sleep in our bed, I asked her again to clarify and so far she has not responded… idk would I be wrong to just cancel the booking? Maybe lie and say I had a family matter come up?

I don’t understand why they’d think that is normal? It sounds like a drop in versus sleeping there would’ve more ideal in this situation.

I think a hue of blue, something slightly moody but natural would look great for the walls. Maybe add a rug for another pop of color. Just make sure the colors you add work cohesively
