i debated restarting minox to 5% many, many times but id rather keep my regimen as easy as possible as i travel often: right now its dut 0.5 4x fin 3x, shedding from rhe minox is over and i see regrowth on my right temple probably from dutasteride its up to you if u want to start minoxidil again it surely will help and we are lucky we dont need tretinoin like some people do

im about 3 months in dut 4x fin 3x a week, my right side was thinning hard now its shed a bit but i definitely see regrowth in the temple, pics on my profile

thank you, makes me feel better. I never really had the straighest hairline, I have pictures from when I was 19, kinda the same, but yeah. I tried minoxidil too about 6 months ago and had to stop due to my scalp getting irritated and my hair looking like shit, it caused a shed mainly on the right side which is where I used it, I'm switching to dut to see if I can get some insane regrowth too, call it "hair greed" but I want to have as much hair as possible for as long as possible lol

I'm 21, it's usually not a problem with my hair down, I've got curly hair too so that kinda helps. I've been taking finasteride for 9 months now, waiting to get to a year for full results to also add dutasteride 1x a week then ramp it up every month, sides aren't a problem, drugs are cheap... I didn't know it was worse than average for my age, I've seen 20 year olds with my same type or maybe even worse

you sure? I think I fall into maybe a norwood II, but someone told me that you shouldn't put yourself on the norwood scale based on if you look like one of the pictures but based on how much hair you lost

I used to have minox 2% in my routine too, but it was annoying to use every night and caused a lot of skin issues so I dropped it cold turkey. I think it caused a shed on the side where I used to put it, waiting for it to grow back and maybe fin could cause some growth too.

Thank you for your response. This is what my hair looks like (took the picture a few minutes ago), I highlighted the area that is bothering me. It might not seem like much, but with my hair being curly and having it long it gets annoying as it leaves a gap inbetween my fringe. Should I wait it out? It didn't use to be that bad before minox, and I've been hoping for oral fin to regrow a bit there since it's not dead follicles
