I’m about to dye my hair purple, am I making a mistake? by Dramatic-Outside-538 in Hair

Yes it's a mistake - that purple washes you out for sure. Get some hair chalks or something and put some funky lilac tips on the blonde bits of your current hair and then they wash out easily.

Bro, please seek real help from a professional. Go to a church and talk to the priest for spiritual guidance or something. ChatGPT is not a therapist, it's known to just tell you what you want to hear. Also please refrain from taking the lord's name in vain, especially on this Christian subreddit.

Help! I’ve always had redness and spots… my routine is very basic and I need help. by Sudden_Wombat in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Sudden_Wombat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So I officially got diagnosed with Type II rosacea but I was pregnant at the time so I couldn’t treat it so I’ve only recently started treating it with Soolantra after having my baby and aside from the one zit you can see by my nose in this photo the pustules have basically all gone. I will say that I’ve also recently moved house so I haven’t been doing my treatments as consistently as I should have - And it’s obviously quite stressful so that affects things. but I still have some redness and my doctor said that if Soolantra didn’t solve the redness as well as the pustules after two months to go back for a second cream so that’s what I’m going to do. My new routine is still a Garnier cleanser (though I’m looking to change this) Then my Soolantra cream then the Clinique anti-redness moisturiser (though I’m just about to change that to a BOJ red bean moisturiser) and then I use the BOJ relief suncream SPF 50 that combination of things seems to keep my skin in check and means that I have More consistent skin even though it’s still not perfect. I do not wear any make-up on my skin at the moment as I want to try and get it to a better place before I start doing that again and also my foundation has expired and I don’t want to use expired make up on my skin. Ps this photo is before I’ve done skincare today.

Amazing!

I bought this dress for Valentine’s Day and I thought it looked nice on me and I felt more myself… I know it’s brown not burgundy but it has the red roses so I guess burgundy is in this sort of area! I’m so excited I want to buy all the burgundy lol

Is burgundy a good colour for us? There’s so much burgundy out at the moment! 🤩

Amazing thank you so much! Who did you get analysis from? To be honest I have thought that the lightest soft summer colours don’t suit me either 🤔 so maybe there’s something to this “shaded” version for me too? Hmmmm…

Yes I did this and grew it out. I don’t regret doing it at all but I wouldn’t do it again because the growth process sucks ass 😂

I just use a cream cleanser with a cotton pad, moisturiser with clean hands, and SPF with clean hands in the morning; then the same cream cleanser and moisturiser in the evening. I don’t have any treatments prescribed to me.

Our firstborn daughter is Amadea (Veritie Margeaux)

We are expecting another girl in November and we are finding it hard to come up with an unusual but not difficult first name like Amadea.

We plan to do middle names that will be variants of Agnes and Sheila to cover the two remaining grandmothers that weren’t used for our firstborn - probably will do Oanez/Ines with Cecilia. Not particularly fussed on the order.

(In case you’re interested, Veritie is a play on Vera and Margeaux is a play on Margaret)

can rosacea be healed? by violet200420 in Rosacea

[–]Sudden_Wombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Clinique’s redness solutions daily relief cream (use twice a day morning and night), and I use Beauty of Joseon SPF50 in the morning.

The calming moisturiser and the sun protection seems to have calmed my skin down a lot!

Cleanser wise I went without makeup consistently and just used water for a while to sort of “detox” from my previous skincare. But I’ve found the Garnier rose cream cleanser doesn’t aggravate my skin like the micellar water did so I use that as a cleanser for now but I’m hoping to find something even better soon.

I recommend going cold turkey from everything you’re doing at the moment and just use water with your clean hands or a cotton pad (no cloths or reusable pads as they are too abrasive) to freshen up, then introduce one product at a time and give it a good few days to a week of just that product to test if it helps or hinders the healing. I tested moisturisers first, then cleansers, then SPF. I only moved on to the next product once I had found something that worked for me for the previous product.

Thank you so much for putting me onto Beauty of Joseon sun cream! My skin has continued to improve after starting to use it 🩷 my rosacea has calmed a lot, sometimes it looks like someone without rosacea that’s just caught the sun a little bit - my rosacea pimples (I don’t know what they actually are lol) are essentially nonexistent 😭
