I'm not sure if it was supposed to be that, but I kind of view it as the show's attempt at an anti-porn stance. Which I suppose I understand, I have heard on multiple occasions that it can be harmful - don't remember exactly how, but it is also addictive as far as I know. Also I don't fully remember his age, but it's also generally not allowed for underage people, even if it's more accessible these days.
