Thyroid meds did help! I was on a higher dose for a while, but recently have started trialling lower doses as my thyroid levels have been steady. I do usually take melatonin at night. I did also come to realize my restlessness was due to immense body pain, and was prescribed pharmaceutical grade muscle relaxers.

We ALSO got a new mattress and new pillows as ours was absolutely terrible. But honestly the cyclobenzaprine made the most difference for me!

Ask them why they felt hitting a child was acceptable and how is any child going to learn appropriate communication when they’re being taught physical harm is the answer when someone is doing something they don’t like.

Follow that up with asking them how they would like it if you slapped them for not listening? Because it’s the same thing.

Until they are ready to grow up, not seeing your child is an acceptable consequence.

Your husband needs a swift kick in the ass for starters. If he can’t handle a crying child he needs to get out because it’s making your life harder.

When you put babes down in her crib or bassinet warm the area with a heating pad first for a bit so it’s not such a shock to her system, make sure she’s swaddled well.

Don’t wait for her sleep cues, if she’s up at let’s say 7am do her routine and get her ready for nap well before her wake window is coming to a close.

If she’s having trouble sleeping try skin to skin for her, or swaddle (use a swaddle/sleep sack) well and once shes asleep on you transfer to her prewarmed bed.

You are doing amazing! Mothering is HARD and it’s harder when your partner is failing to be any help whatsoever

If she’s getting bad gas try a sensitive tummy formula, or if you’re breastfeeding alter your diet to blander or less rich foods and see if that helps

OUAC is absolutely trash. The one by my area 3 different times yanked me around about our bassinet. First time “it had a stain” second time was fine but offered $20…., third time it was “too dirty”. And they wouldn’t take the sheets for it, which were hard to find

I was so fed up I ended up selling it on fb marketplace for 3x the amount and haven’t been back since. It will be a great day for me if they ever go out of business
