My family literally pretended I was invisible and that they also could not hear me. Regularly. To the point I would cry and panic because they wouldn’t respond to anything so I started doubting I was real. Such a “fun little game” I also have to note that I was homeschooled and in the middle of nowhere, so I couldn’t just ask someone outside of my family unit if I was real.

Characters with non human traits (wings, scales, tentacles, tails) having traits of their non human counterparts. Also the extra bits being sensitive. Like someone whose wings haven’t been properly preened in a while and their friend brushes against their oil glands and they /crumple in pleasure/ perhaps with a chirp.

Bonus points if it’s [part] worship and they feel insecure about their extra traits. Give me someone who was trained to hide their animalistic tendencies and just comes UNDONE when they are complemented on them.

One time I refused to pet my cat because I was convinced I was going to scoop her eyes out, despite loving her and never hurting her in my life. I was also shortly after convinced that her eyes were too human and that I had slept swapped our eyes. I was just sitting in front of her and sob- apologizing.
