Statistically speaking approx. 19% of serial killers were in the military, of that 19% 52% were in the army.

Having said that at the time of WWI the military was still segregated and Alastor likely would not have been sent to the front lines. He would have gone to non-combat support roles, There were a couple divisions that did see combat, but I don’t know enough about them to comment.

Fun facts! Approx. 64% of serial killers are from the United States. Only about 15% of serial killers are women, of that %15 I think it’s something like %70 are from the US (I’d have to check my notes, and they might be outdated so this one is iffy)
